Valamar Carolina Hotel & Villas

I can hardly remember to a hotel which met my holiday expectations in a better way than the Valamar Carolina. It is located in a beautiful, green and silent part of the Rab island called Suha Punta next to a nice beach. Rooms are spacious & very comfortable and each has a sea view. Hotel is equipped with a fitness, spa center two infinite pools and several bars and restaurants. Food served within a halfboard was a story itself… breakfasts so as dinners were small culinary celebrations with variety of top quality dishes offered. Despite several months have passed since our returned home, the Valamar Carolina has remained in our memories as a perfect place for a lovely holiday.

Valamar Carolina is a really beautiful hotel with a nice beach. We lived in a villa with swim-up Pool und direct sea view. The food was good and the restaurant looked nice. We enjoyed it very much and can definitely recommend it.

Nice place, delicious food, great rooms, nice view, fantastic vacation. Staff were also helpful. Good location of the hotel, close to the city. Only one small disadvantage: no drinks included at dinner.

The hotel has nice location at the coast with several entrances into the sea. The hotel and its amenities are in good condition like new. There is half-board available and the breakfast and dinner buffet has amazing selection of food. Even a choose person won’t complain. For lunch is another hotel restaurant available. We tried it and it was ok, same prices like in bistro/restaurants in this area. Cleanliness of the hotel and rooms are spot on. Staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Many thanks specially to duty manager, who acknowledged and settled my complaint about the noise in our room (147 - don’t take this one). Also, I’d like to mention the caretaker Goran and his friendly personality. He always helped us with our SAP and gave us piece of advice about things to do around the hotel. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who’s searching for a calm holiday. I’d personally come back again.

Half board is fantastic, the hotel has various and very good quality food, even for people following special gluten-free and dairy-free diet. Villas are very quiet, comfortable and the private pool is a huge added value. Hotel staff are checking the water quality every day. Small but well equipped gym, trainer and group classes are included in the price. The whole staff is very nice, everyone speaks english. Valamar is a real dog-friendly place! Our doggy got treats and a toy as a present. Pets can enter the restaurant’s terrace, swim in the ocean and enter the sunlounge area as well.

We‘ve stayed here the 4th time already. Normaly we are not the ‚type‘ of people, who always drive to the same destination, but this place here is special. You have everything! Absolutely delicious food, clean rooms wirh cozy beds and you can go directly swimming into the sea. The staff is friendly and attentive. Last year we had a few things we thought, were a little bit disturbing (loud music at the pool). They took our feedback and this year, all these ‚problems‘ were solved. We always raved about this place at home, so this year our friends also came with us. We will come the next years again!

We visited hotels from Australia to Canada. In Valamar Carolina we have met most kind and hospitable personnel and management. All offers and services a superb. We advise hotel Carolina and we will surely return. Thank you all! Tatjana and Martin

The pillows had been the fluffiest I ever felt. well that´s true. Honesty my sister and me enjoyed our holiday very much. The hotel is really awesome so is the landscape. We had been there 19 to 27 june. The hotel is beautiful and very cozy. But the best thing about it are really the staff, the people who are working there. Really all of them had been authentic friendly and soo nice. I really love the croatian people and we both felt really like at home there. By the way the dinners are also very delicious. As well as the rooms are total clean. And it´s great that the hotel cares about the environment. Thank you very much for this wonderful time and for creating such a lovely place Katharina Voitl
