Our 2nd visit and another lovely stay with Minas and Maria, who are perfect hosts, and put you at ease. Comfortable rooms with Sea view, delicious and generous breakfasts, and set in a peaceful rural location, only 5 minutes walk from the beach. Thank you again Minas for collecting us from the airport, and helping us find a Hire Car at short notice 🙂

Lovely family run hotel. We spent a week at the Vardes in a large studio apartment. The rooms were very clean, they have strong wi-fi ,television and air conditioner. The family were very kind, helpful and informative of the local beaches in the area. There were no traffic noises at all. It is in walking distance (about 10 minutes) to a sand beach and a pebble beach. The highlight is that Wonderful rotating breakfast that Maria and Minas prepare each morning. Their home-made cheese and honey are very delicious, as is the rest of the various dishes excellent local fresh yogurt for breakfast and eggs cooked in different ways. The family were very kind, helpful of the local beaches and restaurants in the area. At our departure we were given some oregano and sea salt as a gift. Thank you very much!

One week spent in August at Vardes Hotel & Studios and... quiet place to stay in Amoopi, sorrounded by the green olives and 10 minutes walk far from the fantastic Amoopi beach - one of the best among many on the island! Very clean, large double room with small kitchen corner and, most of all, a beautiful terrace to view the sea (our room #6 at 2nd floor) Free parking in the backyard. Just one advice: during strong windy nights, ensure both windows doors and awnings are well secured otherwise the noise could be pretty annoying. Maria, Minas and their eldest son Theo will do their best to make you feel comfortable. Breakfast with fresh bread, local fruits & vegs, homemade sweets and traditional Greek dairy products. Besides, Maria was so kind to prepare, daily only for us, the yummy bougatsa little cakes! Rooms renovation may help to achieve 5/5 score.

Che dire di Minas e Maria che ti offrono tutto ol loro calore per farti sentire a casa.un ospitalità semplice ma sincera..se cerchi la Grecia autentica e semplice questo è il posto giusto..vicina a tutto .non manca nulla neppure il vento che a karpathos spinge molto e da Minas ancor di più...ma questa è la Grecia che ci piace.

La struttura è molto carina, curata e pulita, con stanze ampie e comode. Accoglienza impeccabile dei proprietarti che ti fanno sentire come a casa, sempre sorridenti e gentili. Buona la colazione e spiagge di Amoopi a pochi passi. Hotel super consigliato!

Struttura semplice dove la differenza la fa Minas e la sua famiglia..se vuoi un esperienza veramente "greca" provalo. Minas punta su semplicità ma struttura pulita e con ottimo rapporto prezzo qualità, nessun fronzolo.a partire dalla strada d accesso ancora sterrata. Colazione poco varia ma preparata al momento dalla famiglia..non centrale ma vicino a tutto

Da scegliere per vivere la vera Katpathos A conduzione famigliare Minas e Maria estremamente disponibili e simpatici. La struttura essenziale ma pulita e in posizione strategica! Bambini benvenuti (anche perché ci sono i figli dei proprietari) Ho conosciuto la struttura anni fa e ci siamo tornati più volte.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich super. Der Weg zum Strand sind ca. 10 Minuten. Es gibt Restaurants und Minimärkte in der Nähe (Mitte Oktober haben allerdings nicht mehr alle geöffnet). Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmen. Zwar ist in den Studios nicht alles super modern, aber es ist sauber, ordentlich und stimmig. Jeden Morgen gab es ein ausreichendes Frühstück (Brot, Tomaten, griechischer Käse) mit Kaffe, Tee, Osaft und einen wechselndem Extra (Spiegelei, Blätterteigtasche, Früchte). Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns auch kostenlos vom Flughafen abgeholt. Wir würden wieder kommen!

Io e il mio compagno Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura per una settimana. Posizione eccellente a pochi minuti a piedi dalle bellissime spiagge di Amoopi e da diverse taverne. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ambiente modesto ma molto pulito e gestito al meglio. Un grazie di cuore ai proprietari Maria e Minas per la loro disponibilità cordialità e gentilezza. Due persone autentiche che ti fanno sentire a casa. Luisa e Fabrizio.
