The room is good, the food is good, all the staff is very kind and attentive. The location is perfect, right in the center of Kendwa beach. The only inconvenient is not having internet in the rooms, forcing us to go outside to the restaurant or the reception. It really needs to improve this. But all the rest was perfect.

Great accommodation located directly on the beach, and the staff is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming! I stayed on the ground floor. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfy, and the room has AC. The food at the restaurant is tasty. It is very easy to book activities at the reception! They have a brochure with activities. The girls at the reception helped me very well with booking the activities, for example, the snorkeling tour to Tumbatu Island, and security guard Atraxh took me to the place from where the activities started! Also, I did some shopping at Ikea, the hotel's souvenir shop. And at the beachfront, there is a special area designated for swimmers. Would stay here again in the future!

No complaints regarding the room or the awesome service at the restaurant. Considering the price, the location and amenities (while basic, are comfortable and safe) can’t be beat. My only word of advice, trust your gut when using their go to taxi driver Suleiman.

This was a great place for vacation. I will definitely consider coming back again. However the bathroom needs some work. The towel on the floor was always wet. We had a good time at the beach. The place is beautiful and makes you feel at home.

The hotel is very cosy. I lived in the 6th room. There is a balcony in the room and it was so pleasant for me to have a cup of coffee in it early mornings. The staff is always ready to help with one's private issues. The courtyard and the space in the hall is always cleaned.

Most friendly staff that you can imagine. Fine value for the money, and the rooms are clean, but the hotel is placed in a bit crowded area. However, it is an excellent location towards and just at the beach.

I would say that my review is related with the local market. The hotel with the same pros and cons in Turkey, Egypt or Tunis I would reviewed as bad, but for Zanzibar, especially for Kendwa this is really good balance in between price and quality. Although on all cons we enjoyed our staying and can recommend this hotel. Pros - Excellent allocation on see side, the hotel have direct entrance to the beach and own area with sunbeds with offered to hotel guests for free - Hotel staff is really good and try their best to make guests staying maximum comfortable. One of them even helped me with seehedge needle removing when accidentally step on it. - Hotel have own diesel generator. This is really helpful due to public electricity systems fails really often. Cons - There is not WLAN in the rooms. For me this is a huge disadvantage - The shower room is the most disappointing point in this staying. The water flow is so weak that hair washing was a nightmare, the shower construction is absolutely uncomfortable, the shower cabinet doors are moving very very difficult . There is not even one shelf for shower staff (like shower gel or shampoo) as well as hooks for towels allocation. The door to the room is closing very bad too. So all of that make washing time very unpleasant and annoying. - The room AC is really old and weak so it is not able to hold the temperature lower than 26C degrees. Small recommendation - if possible request the room in the main building on 3th or 4th floor. It’s have a good seaview.

The room was clean and had all amenities. The staff was friendly and polite. The hotel has direct assess to the beach. Great location as it is one of Zanzibar's most beautiful beaches...... I'd happily stay there again if visiting Zanzibar.

Clean and simple rooms,with air conditioining,on the ocean shora.Breakfast is very tasty ,with fresh fruits eggs and pancakes. But the best part of the hotel was they entire staff super caring and friendly:) Thank you guys for this Beautiful experience.👍🏻
