This was the most expensive place that I stayed during my trip to Nepal, but I think it was well worth the extra expense. The staff is very friendly and helpful! When I arrived and checked in, they offered me a nice hot coffee and after a long day of trekking and running around, it was the perfect little gesture to make me feel more at home. The manager is ready and willing to help with any aspect of your trip, whether that means giving you advice for places to visit or organizing transportation anywhere you want to go. The room was very cozy and clean- there is an outlet right next to the bed, the aircon works very well and the hot water in the shower may take a minute to figure out but will get nice and hot! There is a breakfast served every morning that was very yummy and comforting. There is no in-house restaurant but there are plenty of nearby places to eat dinner. I especially liked a place right across the street that offers Nepali, Indian, and American cuisines. This hotel is also in a great location to see some of the historical sights of Kathmandu. I spent most of my time walking to Kathmandu’s Durbar Square and enjoying coffee and good meals on rooftop restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!
