La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Beacon Hill

It was ok for the biz travel in down town Kansas City based on budget cost. Complimentary breakfast was good. But staff was not kind.

The staff here is AWESOME and very helpful and knowledgeable about the area the room was clean and comfortable I would stay here again

We liked the La Quinta Inn & Suites because of the location near Children's Mercy Hospital Kansas. They had a friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, and was a clean hotel. It was easy to get to from Hwy 71

The property itself is nice. Most things looked new. The woman at the desk was very rude and condescending. Others I encountered later were professional. Breakfast was good, and kept refilled well. The walls are very thin. We could hear much more than we wanted to from people next door. The area around the hotel felt unsafe. It was on the edge of an old industrial area. Many sirens going by our window through the night.

,The man who checked us in as well as any staff we encountered , were very friendly and helpful. The room and lobby were both very clean. The bed was comfortable. Great price for proximity to downtown with only a short Uber ride to T Mobile center.

The hotel is nice. The neighbor that its located in is a bit sketchy. The front doors are always locked they said. You have to buzz in. I was nervous traveling as single mom with kids when I realized location. The hotel its self was clean & smelled good. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was nice, decent breakfast, price was reasonable but area was a little sketchy and getting to I-70 or Hwy 71 was a little tricky.
