A very comfortable hotel with spacious airy rooms. The adjoining restaurant is excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly, and there is even a grand piano in the lobby for guests to play. It is however quite out of tune!

ケネバンクポートは素敵な場所です。しかし、ブレイクウォーター・インはケネバンクポートを眺めるために泊まるには適していません。朝食なしのB&Bのような感じです。ジムとスパがあると主張していますが、実際には利用できず、実際に見える場所もありません。私たちの部屋は狭く、収納スペースはなく、トイレのドアは閉まりませんでした。エアコンは今まで経験した中で一番うるさく、毎日の清掃もありませんでした。しかし、ホテル併設の隣のレストランは良かったです。要するに、高額な料金を支払って泊まったのに、がっかりした滞在でした。4泊の予約でしたが、2日間の滞在で満足できずに出発しました。

ハネムーンのスタートにこのホテルに泊まるのを楽しみにしていましたが、期待をはるかに下回る体験でした。事前にアーリーチェックインの予約をしていたにもかかわらず、到着時のフロントスタッフの対応は冷たく、無愛想でした。荷物の運搬も手伝ってもらえず、3階分の階段を自力で運ばなければなりませんでした。1階は工事中で、ホテルというより工事現場のような雰囲気でした。滞在中はWi-Fiが全く使えず、スタッフも問題解決に全く関心を示しませんでした。さらに、エアコンはWi-Fi接続に依存しているため、部屋の温度調節が困難でした。残念ながら、フィードバックを試みましたが、無関心で、何の反応もありませんでした。ハネムーンの特別でリラックスしたスタートとなるはずだったものが、フラストレーションの溜まる不快な体験になってしまいました。サービス、アメニティ、そしてホテルの状態を考えると、今回の滞在は費用に見合うものではありませんでした。

5年前の素晴らしい滞在とは正反対で、本当にがっかりするインでした。インターネットもテレビもなく、フロントスタッフも姿を見せず、マネージャーも姿を見せませんでした。マネージャーと話をしたいと3回頼みましたが、結局は不在だと言われました。新館の部屋は綺麗でしたが、エアコンがなく共用エリアは不快なほど暑かったです。チェックイン時に部屋の窓用エアコンが作動しておらず、部屋は息苦しかったです。インターネットは複数のデバイス間では使えず、スタッフは私たちの懸念を無視しました。後になって、テレビが壊れていて、バスルームのドアが閉まらないことが分かりました。フロントに3度目の苦情を送ったところ、フロントの責任ではないと言われました。アメニティについても誤解されていました。ハッピーアワーはなく、ハウスキーピングのリクエスト（午前8時にリクエスト）は午後4時過ぎまで対応されず、さらにフォローアップの電話をしてからようやく対応されました。

ひどいものでした。何も良いところがありませんでした。インターネットもテレビもエアコンもなく、サービスも悪かったです。ケネバンク港は大好きですが、ここは期待していた以上の体験ではありませんでした。

I was here during the off-season on a solo trip up to New England, and read the reviews and thought this would be a very nice place to stay while I explored the local area. I couldn’t have been more happy with my choice. I booked the Harborview King Suite Waterview with Balcony on the third (top) floor) and I arrived late in the afternoon, and was greeted by Rhonda, the Inn’s general manager. She was very gracious, and let me know that there is construction going on in the building since this is the off-season. She did tell me that she has asked the construction crews to start later and stop earlier since my arrival. I did inform her that it wouldn’t be necessary as I was getting up early and exploring the area all day. The room I was in was their nicest room and it overlooked the bay. It was a phenomenal room. The mini fridge could fit multiple bottles of wine on their side, which was nice, and the shower probably had the best pressure of any shower have ever been in. It does have a sitting area with chairs that swivel, and windows that are open if you want to listen to the ocean. There is also a small balcony outside, but I did not partake as the temps were still in the the 30s Fahrenheit. On my second night, I decided to eat at their restaurant next-door, and I couldn’t have been happier not only with the service but the food. It is really top-notch. I had the rigatoni Panna and it was wonderful. The leftovers were my meal the next night after I traveled to Newburyport. It’s a great place, with only a handful of room rooms, but plenty of parking in the back. And Rhonda is absolutely wonderful and we had a really good conversation about random things. I will definitely be coming back, though I’ll have to bring my wife, as she said, she was jealous of my experience here.

We were booked here by our travel agent, on the understanding there was a spa and gym, and on the basis of lovely views to the river, and well appointed rooms. We were housed in a separate building from the one on all the publicity shots, that appears to have been roughly ushered into service to the hotel. On enquiring regarding the location of the gym on arrival, we were told it had closed along with the spa 6 months previously ( despite still being called the Breakwater Inn and Spa, and stating there is a gym on the current web site). The room we had ( second floor) was basic and bad value for money. This building backs onto the large car park and we had a very bright flood light to that outside the bedroom window. The curtains were a single layer of cotton, no black out, so bright light flooding in all night. AC unit was immediately next to my side of the bed, and had the sound level of motor engine being intermittently fired up , and then rattling... No bedside tables, light switches tricky to locate behind the bed frame. The bathroom door didn't fit the doorframe so couldn't be closed when you needed to use the bathroom ( you better feel very comfortable with your travel partner!). The entrance lobby to this building feels half abandoned, occasionally staffed ( mostly not whilst we were resident). Daily cleaning was promised on our check in paperwork, nobody came, and there was no one to find to complain to. We left after our second night and moved elsewhere ( we would have gone after the first night if we could have found somewhere). I don't recommend this Inn, it is frankly miss-selling at least some of its accommodation, and certainly and absolutely does not have the facilities advertised on its website, or in its name here on Tripadvisor.

Wonderful room! Clean, spacious and felt so private on the third floor. The view was great and we had a perfect view of the fireworks nearby.

The room was cute, spacious and a nice view of the ocean. Bed was very comfortable. However, not enough light. The bathroom needs to be updated. Paint chipping off the cabinet, bathtub, outdated and needs re-caulking, and a new shower head. Also the toilet lid was not cleaned. The coffee selection could use an upgrade to something other than folders. Maybe hot chocolate too, along with snacks, granolas bars, crackers, etc? Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but for the money paid, we expected a bit more.
