Nice cosy bedroom, nice breakfast. A place well located, 10mn walk to the centre of Keswick. Great.

There's certain things I look for when booking a B&B. A modern decor, a comfortable bed and a good shower. Oh and parking. Glendale appeared to promise all of these staying they had parking (which they don't), photos showed modern looking rooms whereas ours hadn't been decorated for 30 years and had a brass bed that should have been condemned. The shower made an electric shower look exciting it was so weak Breakfast was reasonable with a good fruit salad bowl if you got down early. A word of warning (other than beware of the bed) and that is to make sure no one follows you in the B&B when you enter. A guest let my wife in and someone immediately followed her. The owner yelled at my wife for letting strangers in the house even when she tried to explain it wasn't her

Solid Stay Solo traveller for one night and this was absolutely brilliant! Comfy bed, clean room, decent shower, filling breakfast and friendly service. Great location too, about 6mins to the main high street.

One night trip, beautifully maintained building and welcoming hosts. Good breakfast and pre order system worked well. Room had everything I needed and quiet, despite central location. Recommended if in Keswick.

Awesome place, very friendly, helpful owners, great breakfast and tremendous value - less expensive for 2 rooms than YHA!

Great stay at Glendale in early July. Visited Keswick with mum who has very fond memories of town & a keen walker even in her mid eighties. Very comfortable, clean rooms & the veggie breakfasts were really good. Strawberries & blueberries or melon were delicious too with yoghurt. Barry & wife were very good hosts. Parking easy on street outside guesthouse. Highly recommended.

A super stay in this lovely Guest House, that was in a great location, near to the centre of Keswick. Barry and Clair were wonderful hosts and the room was very comfortable, with every facility for a comfortable stay. A hugh breakfast menu was available and very much appreciated. I look forward to my next visit to this lovely accommdation.
