Fantastisk service. God mad i restauranten og stor ros til den flotte morgenbuffet.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Zur Post. The inn is relatively new and very clean. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was quite large, modern, and comfortable. The only issue we had was that we were directly over the restaurant which was not at all loud but did seem to interfere with the Wi-Fi signal. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff were very helpful and cheerful. The only small issue is parking can be a little tight if you arrive around supper as the restaurant appears to do a roaring trade. We ate dinner there and were quite happy with the selection, service, and friendliness of the staff.

Stayed for 2 nights as a base for the Wendelstein round trip; which works well from here, with the Bavaria train day pass you can travel the full roundtrip Kiefersfelden-Rosenheim-Holzkirchen-Ostendorf and then back with cable car and cogwheel train to Brannenburg or other way round, for 33 euro for 2 persons. Hotel is at the station doorstep. Spacious rooms, though sometimes quite some stairs to climb; ours was front side with balcony, no train noise at all but back side might be different. Spacious room but basic, of course this is 2-3 star hence don't expect much poshness, Bathrooms renovated not too long ago, and decent. Breakfast excellent for the price level, with even eggs made to order. Also had 2 excellent Bavarian-style dinners in their restaurant. Friendly staff.

Super venlige og serviceminded personale meget fint til prisen

Das Hotel liegt nahe der Autobahn und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs, aber man hört nichts. Der Service war hervorragend, im Restaurant wurde man ebenfalls sehr zuvorkommend bedient.

Wir waren nun zum zweiten Mal auf der Durchreise hier und können nur all die guten Kommentare bestätigen. Einfache aber saubere Zimmer, Personal im Hotel und Restaurant sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Je nach Lage des Zimmers stört die Bahnstrecke überhaupt nicht. Hundefreundlich. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Biergarten mit dem Angebot an Speisen und Getränke typisch bayerisch und ausgesprochen gut. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis für Hotel und Restaurant ist nur schwer zu toppen. Wir können nur eine große Empfehlung aussprechen.

Wie immer ist hier nichts zu bemängeln, alles passt. Preis-Leistung, Service, Freundlichkeit des Personals, Serviceangebot, alles Top. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Angebot an regionalen Gerichten und Produkten, hier vermisst man nichts.

Zwischenstopp in diesem Gasthof. Wenige Stunden vor der Ankunft ein Zimmer reserviert. Wirtin sehr herzlich. Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung, ein wenig überwärmt, Matratzen arg weich, aber für die eine Nacht alles wunderbar. Bei dem Frühstücksbuffet gab es eine große Auswahl. Alles in allem eine gute Entscheidung.
