We haven't stayed here for a long time, probably since our 2 boys were very small. We always thought it was expensive. When you look it up you would probably say the same but when you arrive you see that the money you pay has been put back into all the hotels' amenities. Staff,pool,bar, and breakfast all excellent we didn't have dinner in the hotel we had booked other places with family to eat before arriving. It felt and looked like Christmas time there. The whole place was decorated lovely and ands to the whole stay the park at the back our 2 boys loved we had to walk it every morning after breakfast. We will be back for sure and would recommend it to everyone. Keep up the great work 5/5

My 3rd time visiting the Newpark. For 3 different occasions. Everytime the trip is made better. The location is great. The staff are brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. Facilities are top notch. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The pool are is next level treatment. The outdoor pool is beautiful and relaxing.

We’ve returned from a night stay in Newpark. We love the Dino experience, the pool. Just perfect for a family of smallies. However- our room wasn’t ready until after 4pm. The terrace- which we had previously eaten in- was closed for dinner. V disappointed as we loved it before, for pizzas. We ate at Scott’s- grand but v v expensive. 10 euro for a GLASS of Prosecco, which I sent back. Also the bouncy castle outside- we paid for my kids on Saturday and they wanted double that on Sunday which I argued obviously but just felt there were added extras for no reason- eating is v v expensive and considering the basic room was almost 300 euro, I felt I’d paid enough already. Look we love the hotel, it’s fab- staff beds rooms perfect. Never leave the site for the time we’re there- but it’s expensive to eat for what you get. If there was better value for money it would be perfect.

Oh yes the pillows were really good, the bed the shower and the bath were amazing.I loved everything about the hotel. I need more time next time to be able to enjoy all the lovely facilities this hotel has to offer. The gym, the swimming pool, and the spa. I took a tour and the staff both at the spa and the hotel are a great group of people.

The service was top class, the staff can't do enough for you, we felt very welcome. The room was spotless and beds were very comfortable. The breakfast and dinner was lovely. Worth every penny would highly recommend and hope to be returning soon

We had an absolutely brilliant time at the Newpark and Jurassic Newpark. Beautiful hotel, well maintained, beautiful food, beautiful dining options, great breakfast, lovely pool. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. Games rooms for the kids. The hotel was so well staffed. The service was fantastic. Everything was so clean. The Jurassic Newpark was also brilliant. We stayed Friday to Sunday and didn’t leave the Newpark site! We went with our two young children (3 and 5). Would highly recommend to any families.

We have been frequent visitors of the Flynn family hotels for many years. My parents were married in Whitechurch house, I made my communion in the Park hotel, and since moving to Galway in 1995 The Old Ground has often been a half way point for meting family. This was my first time to visit The Newpark and it certainly did not disappoint. We had a wonderful time with our two children from the moment we checked in until we left. Our little girl cried when we had to check out and leave. We stayed in one of the newer rooms so we didn’t experience any of the issues mentioned by others in relation to the heat or the decor. The games room on the second floor is an excellent addition. This hotel literally has thought of everything. Even mini steps at reception for the junior boss to be included at check in. Each child was gifted a generous goodie bag at check in, which was much appreciated. This is probably the first place we have ever ordered food for our children where it didn’t arrive dangerously hot. Being able to feed two hungry little ones as soon as the food arrived was a godsend. The Jurassic Newpark was definitely the highlight. We visited both days and availed of everything on site. The thought that has gone into this park has to be commended. Many other hotels could learn a few things from looking at The Newpark’s business plan. The leisure centre was clean & well equipped.(Ask at reception for slippers and robes) Breakfast was a little underwhelming but despite this we will most definitely hope to return during the summer months.

Jurassic park - fabulous, our kids (5 and 2yo) loved it. Plenty to do for 2 or 3 days, but you need good weather and no rain. Dino shows, bouncy castles, sandpits, go-karts, zip line, animals, playgrounds, fairy trail- amazing. Hotel: nice clean spacious rooms but too cold for small kids. Very expensive, cocktails 14.50, main meals 20-30 euro, top class prices unfortunately not followed by top class service. Hotel mostly run by teens with very little experience although all very friendly. That’s seems to be the case all over Ireland unfortunately. Nice breakfast but again service not great. Pool is lovely and warm and never too busy which was great. The worse thing is that you have to pre-book everything including breakfast, meals and pool. I will never understand how a hotel that caters for kids can demand pre-booking. All small kids nap and there is no way people will know what time your toddler wakes up etc. it’s crazy to demand pre-booking from families with small kids. I’m saying that though we didn’t book any dinners and still got tables each night so props for that! Would I come back-yes. Would I recommend-yes. Nice hotel but needs small improvements and for the prices it charges for drinks and food I’d expect top class service!

Fantastic hotel with great facilities onsite for children and adults , Fabulous staff very welcoming and the Dinosaur Park next door finishes it it off !! Relaxed welcoming stay with children, which can be very hard to find !!!!! The Pre booking pool times very limited. Maybe just offer the times when booking hotel stay and also the Qr code for booking reservations for restaurants, etc
