Absolutely lovely place to stay, room was lovely, had a lovely couple nights sleep, bed was very comfortable, everything you need in the room for a break away, hosts were superb, very friendly and accommodating, breakfast was very nice and a good range to choose from, would highly recommended staying at the B&B and will definitely be staying there again in future, had a great Easter Weekend and the B&B made it, see you on the future

Lovely hosts, very comfortable and clean room. We stayed in the Sandringham room which was warm and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was clean and worked well although the shower room was a bit small. Breakfast was very tasty and served fresh. The wifi was very good. Kings Lynn town centre was a 15 minute walk through the nice park. Would definitely stay here again.

Great welcome and lovely breakfast every day. Comfortable though compact room with everything we needed. Fairlight Lodge is in a quiet area of Kings Lynn, but within easy walking distance to the historic centre, shops and restaurants. Our second visit, and there may be more!

Hosts were very welcoming and went through all information, were happy to accommodate outside of breakfast time scheduled hours to help when, on an early start, nice touch with fresh milk 4 nights in the garden room very comfortable very quiet ample toiletries woukd definately recommend

Lovely hosts couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. I was leaving early for work and owners made me a breakfast roll to take with me as it was before they actually started serving breakfast. Only a short walk through beautiful park to town centre where there are plenty of places to eat. Large room. Comfy bed. Even though at front facing main road not disturbed at all by noise. My bathroom was private although just along corridor but good size. Gorgeous deep roll-top bath and separate hot shower. Would definitely stay here again.

This is much more than simply a 'B&B', it's above and beyond that. The hosts - Jude and Karl - offer their guests a warm welcome upon arrival at their home, which is a splendid detached accommodation set in a delightful large garden. Karl had to take the weekend off to visit a close relative in hospital on the other side of the country but he was at the reception desk to say hello to us before he set off. Jude spoke knowledgeably and attentively about King's Lynn and Norfolk when we enquired about places of interest to visit, and we were grateful to her for taking time out to do so. Unlike the usual system of numbering hotel rooms in the larger chains, the rooms at Fairlight Lodge are named after local landmarks. My single en-suite room - with pictures on the wall of colourful beach huts - was named 'Wells-next-the-Sea', for example. It was quiet, clean and comfortable and I slept very well. Breakfast, perfectly cooked and ably served to us by Jude was an ideal way to start the day. It consisted of fruit juice, tea or coffee, a selection of cereals and yoghurt, a choice brown, white or granary bread for your toast, butter or vegan margarine, Marmite, homemade marmalade and a selection of jams. This was followed by a delicious full English breakfast, freshly prepared to guests' individual requirements. King's Lynn's historic town centre is soon reached via a short stroll through a leafy park. As a visitor to King's Lynn I was impressed; as a guest at Fairlight Lodge B&B I was delighted. Perhaps I'll visit Wells-next-the Sea next time I'm in Norfolk...

Had high expectations after reading the reviews. We didn’t receive a friendly welcome from Jude. We had no introduction from her but that could have been due to our being 30 minutes early as I got the booking in time wrong… Karl was friendly when we met him at breakfast. I only knew their names from the reviews. The breakfast was ok though my egg white was slightly undercooked, what I call “slimy” which put me off, bacon only just warm. We stayed in The Hunstanton Room. While the room was clean this room had a damp/musty smell when entering every time. I couldn’t open the window to air it. The duvet cover could do with replacing as it was really frayed and holey at the bottom, hidden by a throw so if I had left the bed unmade (it’s a habit of mine to make the bed after airing) I wouldn’t have noticed. Maybe I’m being picky, it’s just my thoughts. Very handy to have parking and pleasant walk to the centre of Kings Lynn.

Super hosts, quiet location, extremely comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. Will definitely be back for another stay. Book early because somewhere this good is always going to be busy because it is one of the best in the area

Lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Spotless and spacious rooms. Breakfast was outstanding with high quality locally sourced produce. Good facilities and within walking distance of a lovely park and town. Thank you for a great staycation!
