BIG4 Plantation Caravan Park

A real nice place with big trees giving shadow and a very charming owner family. They serve the world best mango ice-cream, just ask for it. The toilets and showers are the cleaniest we have seen in WA. Surrounded by plantations. There you can buy fresh vegetables. Good Museums are near this campground. Going south or the town center are very near.

We had a powered site in a quiet area of the park which suited us fine. Amenities were very clean and washing machine area was also very clean. Park was a little dated but Ketut was a perfect host. Central to all the sight seeing that is to be done in this area 😀

The caravan park is old and sed needs some work but the new owners are trying to sort things out Lots of shade.. Ablutions blocks were spotless.. The owner is the friendliest nicest person you will ever meet. Quiet. Well priced Has a pool.

Please be aware this place takes full payment upfront for your stay and then does not give refunds at all no matter how far in advance you cancel your booking. I made a one night booking for September 2024 and have asked to cancel my booking today (April 2024) as we can no longer travel during the dates we booked. We’ve been told they do not provide refunds at all. Do not book this place early or only book if you are willing to loose your money as life’s circumstances can change unexpectedly.

The manager booked us into the big house which was a nice surprise we arrived quite late but they very very friendly and happy to accommodate us. The bed in the house was the most comfortable one we have ever stayed in we loved it was a great stay. Easy access great location from the hwy.

We haven’t been to Carnarvon for awhile but were welcomed to Plantation Caravan Park with a big smile and friendly greeting. A caravan site which was level and plenty of room. Amenities clean and tidy.
