Beautiful! Cozy. Lovely. We stayed one night in November and wish we could’ve stayed more. The view from the ecoscape is amazing. Watched an incredible sunset from the room and walking down to the warf. In November there were some lupins around. The hot tub is magic. We soaked under the stars, wonderful. So lovely sitting by the big window amongst the views. The space is super clean and well appointed. Staff was super friendly and helpful with check-in. The restaurant looked and smelled wonderful, we came in too late and when you needed a reservation. I would try it if we ever make our way back!

Gorgeous stay and friendly staff. Catered to our dietary needs. Comfy bed and all the amenities you could need, plus - the view! Amazing, quiet, peaceful, lovely getaway.

We stayed at Ecoscapes for one night, and that was not nearly enough time. We checked in and were immediately made to feel at home. The owner made us feel special and provided us with fresh cream for our tea and coffee for the morning. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My only regret was that we could only spend one night. Amazing!!

The best breakfast I’ve had in all of New Zealand, and we’re from Melbourne so we are pretty serious about our brunch 😂 The property was absolutely stunning and the hosts were very friendly! The Netflix projector was a lovely touch. The view out of the large glass in front of the bed was something out of a postcard. It was incredible to watch the colours near the lake and the mountains change through the day, then to look at the stars. Special shout-out to Molly the dog, the most adorable assistant to the owners. We’ll definitely be back here!

Fantastic stay in a unique location food and accommodation top notch

As the complex comes into view from the road we were greeted with an embankment of struggling shrubs and plants with lots of plastic protectors dangling around them. Bit of TLC needed. Car parking for the echo/scape unit is fine but the steps up to the building are dangerous as is the deep hole full of alkathene pipes . An hour with some flat schist rocks would be much safer. A shelf in the bathroom would a great addition as it would save putting the toilet bag on the floor next to the toilet. The projector above the bed works if you can navigate the instructions. Not so exciting in an echo house lying in bed looking at lots of wires and a red light above you. The view out the front window is outstanding.

Across the lake from Glenorchy and close to several popular walking tracks including the Routeburn the Kinloch lodge and EcoScape accomodation provides a great launching or landing spot. The highlight of the accomodation for us was the huge window that framed the lake and the mountains, we left the blind up and enjoyed spectacular sun rise views with the change of light. The room was relaxing, the big bed was comfortable and the shower great. Outside seating, spa pool and tea and coffee making facilities included. The accompanying lodge has a restaurant. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, thank you.

Couldn't have had a better experience, worth every cent! Toni is a fabulous host and cook, we had the most delicious hearty 3 course dinner and breakfast in the morning was divine. 10/10 recommend, we can't wait to come back! It's absolute paradise!
