A big clean room, a little bit old fashion. Barman staff wasn’t as friendly as other members of the hotel but everybody was polite. Impressive sitting rooms. Swimming pool with showers and spa included in regular rate. Recommendedz

The building requires many upgrades. We went in winter and we only saw two staff in the whole place. It was almost like a scary movie. The property is so grand and beautiful but it most certainly needs upgrading. The dinner facilities were set up as if a wedding of 300 people were coming but in fact it was just for 5 or 6 who were dining and there was no music and again few staff. They had no TV in the main areas to watch the sport. I hope the business can spend to gain more business and get the hotel back to where it belongs. I would have loved to not leave this review and just provide feedback to staff however on our departure the staff clearly didn’t care how our stay way since they took the key asked the room number and went back to what they were doing. Girl at the desk upon arrival was much friendlier than the gentleman upon departure

Hotel used as base for work, lovely and clean food excellent, staff friendly and helpful, chose this hotel as it advertised a gym this was a stationary bike cross trainer tread mill a broken rowing machine an incomplete set of dumbellls and a leg machine, the Pool looked lovely and there was a hot tub and sauna.

Cally Palace Hotel and Golf Course stands as a majestic retreat where the beauty of nature meets the grace of tradition. The enchanting setting, luxurious amenities, and exceptional staff create an a**osphere of refined indulgence. While breakfast stumbled, it did little to diminish the overall allure of this Scottish gem—a destination that invites you to savor the grandeur of both its surroundings and hospitality.

We had an excellent stay. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet. The staff were excellent and my only comment regarding the dining room would be to change the harsh overhead lighting to a more subtle and relaxing level. We shall return.

3rd visit in 15 months. Ticks all the boxes. Friendly staff especially Sarah on reception. Dinner very good but breakfast not so. Great facilities. Played golf but surprised that you had no yardage guides as this is almost essential for playing. Room was massive and fit for royalty!

Reception and staff were lovely and very helpful. First night we chose bar meal which was an expensive mistake, poor quality both fish and burger, avoid if you can. We dined in main dining Saturday where food was amazing. Swimming pool was spotless and well maintained. Our room was beautiful and very big with separate bathroom, again spotlessly clean.

Amazing building from a bygone age. Very welcoming hotel with friendly staff, room large and spacious, furnishings a little dated but clean and we enjoyed our stay

Hotel is advertised. It is a very old hotel and it needs some love but it is very clean, comfortable, great service and good food. Very high value for the price.
