What a lovely home. Staying there is like something out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. My husband and I stayed a weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. Do not hesitate to book this unique venue.

Greg & Linda were the best hosts we could’ve asked for! Their home is beyond lovely and they made us feel welcomed our entire stay. The rooms are well cared for, spacious, and comfortable. There is a beautiful sunrise and sunset view from their balcony and dock and we were even able to see deer and otters. Additionally, they didn’t hesitate to share local recommendations with us which was so helpful. Thank you Greg & Linda we will definitely be returning!

A nice romantic stay. Only negative is you can hear the bridge traffic from the rooms.

Came over with my daughter for a few days to check out the area and I sooo wanted to love this place. It has a beautiful place overlooking the water. The sunsets were spectacular and the mornings serene. I didn’t mind the simple breakfast of store bought muffins and fruit as I don’t eat breakfast anyway but if I did it would’ve been a-ok. I’m a coffee snob so I would’ve liked better coffee and actually a bigger pot but again, it was ok. My main issue was cleanliness. The place smells strongly of essential oils which doesn’t really bother me but it truly is very strong and pungent. My daughter was nauseated by it. Cobwebs were everywhere! EVERYWHERE. The back of our shower was entirely a cobweb. Huge cobweb along and behind the toilet. The corner of the breakfast nook was all cobweb. When we pulled the bed down the top of the bedding when pulled down had cobwebs all over it. There were cobwebs on the light and the fan. I almost cleaned the heck outta the place because I was on the verge of a panic attack. My daughter told me I needed to chill and we just needed to stay away as much as possible. We were already paid up with no refunds possible. Had I had a chance at recouping my money I would’ve left and slept on the beach if necessary. I enjoyed the area and like I said they have a wonderful place and it has so much potential but it was such a disappoin**ent that it was filthy. I will return to the OBX but not there.

What a beautiful, comfortable inn. It is on the bay side of the outer banks, not the ocean but the view is stll beautiful. the room is great with antique but comfortable furniture. What a treat. I was looking for a place that was nice to start and end our day as we explore the area. This was just the place. I can also imagine staying around for the day if we hadn’t lucked on with such nice weather. The owners were helpful but not obtrusive. Looking forward to another visit.

Such a great find! The beach house we shared with family this summer wasnt quite big enough for everyone so we chose to stay a few nights elsewhere. What a great decision! The western view of the sound and sunset was beautiful and the room was perfect with a comfortable bed and antique furniture. We lucked out with the weather and were able to keep the windows open the entire time to freel the breeze and hear the birds and water. We will plan to stay a few nights here every summer during our family trip to the beach.
