We stayed at a lovely 2-bedroom cottage. It was very clean, lots of room, and super comfortable beds. Perfect for a family or small group of friends. Even in late September the pool was open. The best part was the convenience of the beach right across the street. They were so friendly and accommodating.

This is how a beach Vacation should be ! Old world charm and a beach that is not over crowded and lined with Hotels and McMansions!! Unspoiled We have been coming here close to 30 years ( only missing a couple). The current Owners are so gracious to us and appreciate the longevity of us year after coming back. The beauty of Saltaire is really the set up. Having your own 2 bedroom units ( the ones we stay in). There are as many of 18 of us and we all hang around the great pool and beach all day and share the common spaces throughout. Then we can all retreat to our own family units. You cannot get that with a big house with 18 people together and the chaos that usually goes along with if after a week!. The location is perfect, across the beach and right on Beach road and next to Art's place and the Newer cigar and Bourbon bar Tap That. The grounds are kept clean as well as the pool daily. I do not know how they do it but the cleaning staff are truly great ! They are so considerate of everyone they meet and are eager to please. They have been there for a number of years now and Dan and Amanda must be doing something right to keep them. ( keep doing it guys).. We look forward to coming back next year and have the same great experience we have come to love. The Gregory Family

Friendly staff was very helpful with booking. Very comfortable beds plus nice kitchen. The DirectTV service was very good for television. Only downside, wi-fi was a bit slow but no big deal. Would stay again! Great views towards the ocean as well.

I’ve been coming to OBX for years, but never with a smaller friend group rather than family. Saltaire was a great, affordable option. The rooms are all a tad different and full of charm. It’s right on the beach, which made the days really easy. Saltaire staff were responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. I would definitely stay there again.
