フッド リバー ホテル(Hood River Hotel)

Check-in was ok. The person was not very friendly. Our room was furnished well and things were in good condition. The six trains in the middle of the night were annoying-not so much the rumbling sound but the metal squeaking on the tracks. Then at 3:30am there was a loud conversation on the street that woke us up. After 15-20 min. it stopped when they came inside the hotel. Then to our dismay, their room was next-door to ours. They had a very loud conversation until about 5am. At which point there was a skateboarder outside the street. After that we got a couple hours of sleep. because the freeway is also very loud. Very sure that there was some racing on the freeway going on. Ugh. We have stayed here before and had a room on the back side of the hotel which was much more quiet. We would gladly give up the river view to get some sleep!

The room was great, the shower was a another thing, it would go from warm to scalding and back constantly. Other than that, we had a good time.

We had a wonderful experience. Breakfast was amazing and the hotel was quaint, adorable, and clean.

Only issue is room window looks out to wall about 10 ft away, and looks like paint bucket left outside window on a/c unit.

This is a class act hotel. We had the "Historic Downtown Suite" which was quite large with a separate dining/kitchen area. Very comfy, nice bed. The simpler rooms are tighter, of course, from what ee could see. Hint: the hotel directs you to $15/day parking 2 blocks away down a steep hill, but off season there was plenty of street parking right by the hotel for $1/hr to 6PM, then free.

Super super nice for the price. Didn’t expect a whole kitchen. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful historic hotel. Lobby is the best, so nice to hang out in late in the evening. Great staff.

Perfect location. The hotel lobby fireplace is a soothing touch. Park the car and walk everywhere or stay there to enjoy breakfast and lunch with drinks.

Great location and friendly staff. Windows are very thin so felt like they were open with the noise and draft, but otherwise, no complaints!
