Amazing experience!!! Lovely, absolutely fantastic service ( Girls your were amazing!), wonderful people, very friendly and helpful ( restaurants, attractions- thing to do), breakfast was also great with stunning view! If I go to Knysna again , come definitely back!

The Bloem is simply great! It is luxury at its best and we would highly recommend it to our friends. The rooms are fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The location is good and if we come back to this area, we will definetly stay here again.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ben in! the service was amazing the room was perfect and everything was wonderful. We were greeted as we arrived and provided with a tour of the hotel. Our bags magically appeared in our rooms. High tea was in a lovely location of museum quality. Our needs were anticipated and umbrellas were offered when we went out. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable with thoughtful and elegant touches.

Where to begin….we stayed for 3 nights as a family of four and it was absolutely amazing. The staff, attention to detail, accommodation, food, setting…all of it outstanding. What makes this place unique is the magic touches from all the team. Never have I felt so welcomed and special at a hotel. It’s intimate 5 suites allows for peace and quiet but your just a few mins drive from the main parts of Knysna. Special thanks to all of the team, especially Jossey, Bianca, Constance and Vivu (sorry that I’ve spelt that wrong…you will always be the best scrambled egg maker EVER!), and Lovemore, you and the team work incredibly hard to make everyone’s stay so memorable and special. We will most definitely be back and honestly can’t recommend this place enough!

Perfect could not have been a better experience, Bianca and her whole team are incredible nothing was too much trouble, the whole property is beautiful and obviously very loved. We stayed for two nights in November 2023 would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.

This was our 2nd visit to Knynsa and as we stayed at Villa Afrikana the 1st time, we really wanted to stay with Bianca and Ross again, who also own The Bloem. This property overlooks the lagoon from the hillside with fantastic sunrise and sunset views. The rooms are immaculate and the team ensures the highest touches in hospitality. Breakfast is wonderful with incredible selections. This is a beautiful property and I wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Knynsa - Bianca and Ross and their team are incredible hosts. A must stay !

Facilities 4 - the pool is tiny Room 3.5 - an awkward design made it feel like a converted garage. Well finished and a good sized bathroom. Wasn’t possible to watch TV from the bed. Breakfast -4 . Never a fan of ordering the night before especially in a 5star establishment. Bacon over cooked. Service 5+ - the staff bend over backwards to provide everything you need. Lovely small touches such as a glass of fiz with chocolate strawberries on arrival. Conclusion. Staff are doing all they can to make up for the property they have and they do a fine job. But this isn’t five star.

Thebloem is the most beautiful guest house located on a hill overlooking Knynsa. Upon arrival we were greeted by Jossy, who looked after us amazingly during our 2 night stay. Over our 16 day trip to South Africa , Thebloem was the best accommodation we stayed in. Beautifully decorated rooms with high quality bedding and stunning views. An added bonus of complimentary afternoon tea and happy hour each evening. The freshly cooked breakfast was delicious, and Bianca, the owner, was present every day to offer advice on sightseeing and to ensure that everything was perfect. I cannot recommend this property enough. I wish they also offered evening meals as we would definitely have eaten there at night as well. Thankyou for an amazing stay.

I wish I could give 6 stars! This was our second stay at The Bloem and we were again completely overwhelmed with the attention to every little detail of extraordinary service! The staff are exceptional! The special welcome we received upon arrival just made our day! The rooms are exceptional, large, very comfortable and immaculate. Bianca also made time in the morning to chat to our family at breakfast and this just shows the personal touch which will make us return again and again!
