Walton's Homestay, Fort Cochin

A magical piece of history - an authentic heritage hotel in the centre of Fort Kochi! We only wish we stayed longer. Charlotte was very helpful when we checked in, she provided information about things to do and recommended restaurants nearby, as well as showing us all the features of our room. The room itself was cosy, clean and opened onto a beautiful garden. The breakfast was simple but fresh. And don’t miss Mr Walton’s impressive personal library - lots of inspiration for avid book readers!

素晴らしい、家庭的で、思いやりがあり、いつも笑顔のホスト。美しい施設で、ゲストへのおもてなしも素晴らしいです。シャーロットさんはゲストを丁寧に案内し、リラックスさせてくれます。広くて清潔で風通しが良く、木々に囲まれた施設です。最も手入れの行き届いた施設の一つです。自宅のキッチンで美味しい朝食が提供されます。本当に素晴らしい体験でした。プリンセスストリートの中心部に位置し、清潔感も抜群です。築150年の建物で、ウォルトン家が自宅の一部を6部屋のホームステイに改装しました。

わあ！プリンセス通りにあるこのホームステイは、コーチの素晴らしい隠れ家です。このホームステイを見つけられて本当に嬉しく、もっと長く滞在したかったです。ウォルトンさんとご家族は、本当に素晴らしいホストで、素晴らしい方々でした。このホームステイのすべてが素晴らしかったです。お部屋は素敵で、とても快適で、居心地が良く、個性豊かでした。朝食も素晴らしかったです。庭園は美しく、ウォルトン夫人が丁寧に手入れされています。雰囲気はリラックスできて穏やかです。朝、鳥のさえずりで目覚めるのは本当に心地よかったです。ウォルトン夫妻とシャーロット、本当にありがとうございました。今朝、帰る時は感慨深い気持ちになりました。いつかまた戻ってきたいと思っています。

まさに理想のホームステイ体験でした。とてもフレンドリーなご家族、魅力的な家庭的な雰囲気、地域に根ざした雰囲気、美しい庭園、とても清潔で、必要なことはいつでも手伝ってくれます。朝食はゆったりと楽しめ、部屋には水と紅茶が用意されていました。エアコンもとてもよく効きました。ウォルトン一家とお会いできて本当に楽しかったですし、おもてなしにも感謝しています。

このホームステイはプリンセス通りに位置し、フォート・コーチで最高のロケーションです。とても広くて快適な部屋に3泊しました。シャーロットさんは観光スポットやレストランについてとても親切に教えてくれました。趣のある古い建物の中にあり、静かな中庭があります。朝食のインド料理はマサラオムレツだけで、これは本当におすすめです。フォート・コーチにまた来たら、ぜひまた泊まりたいと思っています。

コーチンの観光地にある古い家。たくさんの部屋があり、真ん中に庭があります。部屋はまあまあでしたが、特に特別なところはなく、シンプルな部屋で、ベッドは快適でした。朝食はシンプルでしたが、まあまあでした。部屋には冷蔵庫も家屋にもありませんでした。そのため、家屋で用意された温かいお湯を飲むしかありませんでした。そこで、外から水を買ってきましたが、すぐに温まってしまいました。ベランダに冷蔵庫を少なくとも1台設置することを提案します。結論：素敵で、シンプルで、必要最低限​​のものが揃っていますが、値段は高いです。この観光地周辺に滞在したいなら、家屋は立地が良いです。周辺には良いカフェやレストランがあり、ユダヤ人街もすぐ近くです。

This was our last three night stay after a two week trip across India. The homestay is near the ferry to the city and a walk away from the main Fort Kochi atteactions such as The Jewish Synagogue and the shopping area of Mantacherry. The room we had was on the first floor and had a big comfortable double bed with sheets, blankets and pillows. The furniture was all varnished teak and very inkeeping with the olde world charm. There was air con and opening windows plus plenty of storage space. The shower room toilet was clean and functional. There was no TV but good wifi connections and plenty of electric points - my only slight gripe was the sheer number of light switches however we have found this to be common in Indian hotel rooms. The breakfast room was also the kitchen with two large tables and we were able to chat with other guests and owners around the table and all was very friendly. We were very well looked after and breakfast was fruit, coffee, toast, eggs and delicious, healthy smoothie. There is also a beautiful well cared for garden with many trees and plants. There is also books for sale in the office. We were able to chill in the garden and stow our luggage for a few hours as we waited for our taxi to the airport. Overall Waltons is a fantastic place to stay as they are helpful, friendly and kind and provided us with the perfect end to a wonderful trip across India.

Walton’s home stay is a special place right in the heart of historic Kochi, we were a party of 3 staying in 3 fabulous rooms, we loved this place, the rooms are lovely, clean, spacious and characterful, the breakfasts were delicious too. The home stay is run by the lovely Walton family with Charlotte and her father offering a wonderful contrasting front of house experience. Staying at Walton’s was a great pleasure and is highly recommended
