NO hot water! Especially i was especially surprised since I booked the room with hot water in the shower. Clogged toilet! Zero cleanliness, I received the bathroom with hairs on the mirror Torn sheets! not enough protection from mosquitoes in the room! window with transparent curtain (had to put my shawl on the window for some privacy) Not enough light in the room, the room was so dark at night! Smelly sheets! Moldy and yellow pillows. disgusting staff! the Thai woman with the short black hair was acting like I was torturing her when I was checking in and the English man Adrien was lacking in tact and wouldn't leave me alone. A hammock that smelled like it hasn't been cleaned in years! (Lee upgraded me to an AC room after I was complaining about no hot water and clogged toilet.the room was ok but there were still mosquitoes in the room,the torn sheets. After a few days I booked another night BIG MISTAKE! And the not that nice thai woman said it will be the same room, so I asked her 3 times!!! If the problems was solved she said of course. I was not surprised they only fixed the toilet and not the hot water which i paid for a room with a hot shower. I’m super super disappointed, and left with a very bad taste experiences.

Coco Garden provides everything, and some, that you'd hope for from a small island beach getaway. The accommodation options will pretty much suit everyone with beach front views, to simple fan standalone huts to the larger aircon rooms. The environment is relaxed and quiet and there are no stray dog issues. Particular mention about the staff (front and back of house) who work hard, are proactive and are a joy to be around. The restaurant has good coffee, a large menu and different seating options eg. floor, table, inside and outside. Definitely check out the bar and the talented barman's cocktails!

Just returned from a wonderfully relaxing long weekend at Coco Garden Resort. The location is simply stunning, right on the beach. It was very easy to get a songthaew from the pier & the ride took 10 mins & cost 150baht each. Coco Gardens is a cluster of traditional bungalows, a restaurant & a beach bar. Our bungalow (#6) opened directly onto the beach. We had a big bed, air con, a fridge, a hammock & an en-suite shower room. Check in was easy. Everyone who works there is very friendly. It really is service with a smile. The beach bar is fabulous, just how you’d imagine a beach bar on a tropical island. Lek runs the bar - he’s a real character. Breakfast is simple home cooked fare & is very tasty. You can even have a massage on the beach. There is a complimentary pool table & a couple of complimentary kayaks. You can walk for miles along the beach. A 2 minute walk away to the main road, you’ll find a 7Eleven & a whole host of bars & restaurants. There is so much to see. We had a lovely relaxing couple of days here, doing absolutely nothing & it was wonderful. This is how I imagine Samui was 20 yrs ago. Very well priced rooms - some have air con, some have fans. Cannot recommend Coco Gardens enough. Thank you for a lovely stay, I Can’t wait to return. 10/10

Coco Garden has a really homely feel to it. All the staff are great and very welcoming. Lee was very helpful in offering advice and was great to chat to. It’s a short walk to the busy main road with shops, bars, cafes etc. but it’s far enough away to feel very peaceful. It’s location is right on the beach and sitting at the bar or restaurant always felt special. The accommodation is fine for the cost but I found the very regular sound of things falling from the trees on to the roof made for a disturbed nights sleep(there’s nothing that could be done to stop this…it’s the nature of living amongst nature I guess!) but if you can handle that, I’d say this is a great choice.

If staying in Thong Sala this is perfect beachfront resort. Beautiful gardens, very nice bungalows (beachfront worth extra but garden setting also really nice). Good restaurant, fantastic massages!, fun bar. Owner, Lee, is super nice & helpful. Highly recommend!!

The location is close to the pier and market. It has an awesome beach bar. it have a good seaview. the restaurant and food is good. The staff and owner so friendly and helpful. I had a lovely time in coco. they offered trekking advise also many friendly people from around the world at the bar. great for a female solo traveler.

My friend recommended that I stay at Coco Garden when I arrived on Koh Phangan, and I have to say I couldn't be happier with his suggestion! The bungalows are comfortable, reasonably priced, and offer fantastic views of the beach should you take that option. The staff are among the friendliest I have met on my travels and have been superbly helpful and accommodating during my stay here. Adrian and Lee are brilliant hosts and you can't find a better or friendlier barman than พี่Lek! There is a lovely community feel here, but the resort also affords a high degree of privacy should you prefer the quiet life. I can thoroughly recommend Coco Garden for your stay in Koh Phangan - whether you are travelling solo or as part of a group, I'm confident you will have a great experience.

I originally booked 3 nights at Coco Garden and ended up staying part of a month! It is a beautiful resort with very reasonable bungalows, an awesome beach bar, beach massage and a restaurant with delicious food. The best part about the experience was the staff, Lee, Adrian and the bar an Khun Lek, as well as the community of people who were staying here or visiting the beach bar during my trip. Will definitely stay here again!

This April/May I stayed at Coco garden for about. 4 weeks with another friend. During our stay we felt very welcomed and comfortable by both the guests and the staff. It was super easy to meet other people & honestly one of the best parts about staying. Coco garden is a fun and chill vibe. Cocogarden also has a super great location. It is right on the beach, is tucked away from busy streets but is still super close to a lot of restaurants and shops and is pretty central for the island. I would sure recommend anyone to stay here if you are coming to the island!
