Bait and switch. Booked an aircon room and was given a fan unless I paid more upon arrival.

Loved Moonhut - simple & quiet yet right on the beach - range of different rooms to stay - great restaurant with fantastically helpful staff - close to other nice restaurants bakeries and Cafes - highly recommend About Cafe for breakfast with the BEST coffee.

Stealing from the locked safe! Be aware! Somebody has an extra set of the keys from bungalow A7 and its safe box (both have cheap padlocks). There are no video cameras on the premises except the restaurant and the parking lot so there is no chance to find out who had been entering your bungalow while you weren’t there. We realized that some money were missing ONLY because the thief broke the zipper on my waist bag with credit cards and we decided to check the envelope with money, otherwise we wouldn’t spot the missing bill almost right after it happened. (they stole only one 100-dollar bill out of 6 to make it less obvious, didn’t touch any other currency, but couldn’t close my wallet properly and partially broke it) The police report was made. The owner of the hotel replied to my email (one day later) like “we don’t have the spare keys from the safe box” (I could show him how to get one if he was there, but at the property was no manager, no receptionist, and there is no phone only owner’s email). The total lack of control at the property leaded into the situation we experienced. 1. Please don’t use the padlock they provided, buy your own! 2. And check your belongings in room on regular basis. If you suspect that some money/goods were missing from your room or locked safe inform police and your aggregator immediately. The bungalow we stayed at was fine. Yes, it was really outdated, but we knew what we were booking. For two days of our stay there was no cleaning service. During the day it gets super hot inside and the fan isn’t capable of fixing this issue. Only in the evening when you open both windows and turn on fan the bungalow cools down. The noise of the crickets is insane, very loud. The beach was good, the territory was clean. We didn’t complete our stay for obvious reasons and had a hard time finding another hotel for decent price. Also we had to spend time on making police report, contacting Agoda, our insurance company etc. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. Avoid!

Wir hatten 5 Nächte gebucht, aber nur eine davon dort übernachtet, dazu muss man sagen, dass wir kein Air Bungalow hatten, es war ein Reinfall, würden niemanden empfehlen. Als positiv möchten wir die tolle Lage erwähnen und die schattige Anlage, die auch in heißen Tagen gutes Klima bietet. Die Thai Massage auf dem Gelände einfach nur Bombe, kostet 300 Bhat und jeden Cent wert. Nun die negativen Sachen, die Anlage ist einfach in Jahre gekommen und ist schmudelig. Sehr einfach. Wir haben den Bungalow als Beachhouse benutzt und es war sehr angenehm. Übernachtet haben wir wo anders.

Unser Bungalow war wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Es war dort sehr wenig los und wir waren oft alleine am Strand. Die Gastgeberin war nett und das Essen hat dort auch geschmeckt. Wir haben uns gefühlt wie im Paradies und sind nicht abgeneigt noch einmal wieder zukommen :)

Abbiamo accorciato la nostra permanenza, perdendoci anche i soldi, e ne abbiamo cercato un altro. Personale latitante, pulizia stanza rara, a una richiesta di informazioni su un tour ci è stato risposto: "go on Google!". Il bagno del bungalow (economico) era pessimo. Uniche notte positive: la massaggiatrice fissa che è una professionista sublime! Solo di quello ci è dispiaciuto. Ristorante nella norma.

Hele fijne bungalows direct aan het strand. Zeer schoon en helemaal nog het fijne eiland gevoel. Geen aaneenschakeling van luxe bungalows langs het strand. Zeer lekker restaurant bij de bungalows. Wij en onze kinderen hebben hier ontzettend genoten. Het echte vakantiegevoel in Thailand!
