チャナパ レジデンス(Chanapha Residence)

We have just returned from spending 6 nights at Chanapha Residence and what an amazing peaceful place surrounded by nature giving us time to really chill out and relax, I think we found heaven! A= The hosts George and Daeng couldn't have done anymore to make our holiday absolutely perfect, they really did go above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble it felt like a home from home. They gave us great advice on where to go and George often took us to some of the best parts of Krabi, even offering us a ride there, we really can't thank them both enough.We definitely would love to return to their little pieces of paradise The bungalow with pool view was immaculate even better than the pictures, tons of space and spotlessly clean with a great breakfast selection included in the price. The food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. The whole staff team worked tirelessly to make sure our stay was just perfect If you get the chance it's definitely worth every penny and the family vibe that George Daeng and the staff provide really a piece of perfection There aren't really the words to describe it as it’s about how this place makes you feel Thanks again Chanapha Residence will always have a special place in our hearts ♥️

If you visit Krabi and want to get away from the crowds I highly recommend this special little hotel in the countryside. The owners go out of their way to make you feel at home and offer useful tips. Spacious bedrooms and balconies. The hotel and gardens are kept exceptionally clean. The food is delicious - so much so that we are at the hotel all the time! Highly recommend

We stayed here for 2 weeks after a busy 5 weeks touring SE Asia and had a wonderful time. George and Daeng are so welcoming and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Chanapha is so peaceful and yet is within an easy moped or taxi ride from the beaches, nightlife and shopping. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was delicious and very well-priced. Thank you Mimi and Daeng! We stayed in an Orchid suite which was spacious , comfortable and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was great to wake up in the morning to the sound of birdsong and then sit on the balcony with a cup of coffee. We really didn't want to leave and will definitely return, thank you for a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

If you are heading to Krabi, I would urge you to stay at Chanapha! The other reviews are completely accurate, this is a special place, and delivers service far above it's price range. Some highlights: The food is truly delicious, it has all the flavour of homemade, but is presented like restaurant food, and is good value. We are both vegetarians, and Khun Deng made a real effort to adapt the food for us. The property is so peaceful, far away from the craziness of Ao Nang, but close enough to everything so you're not isolated. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are immaculate and have all you could need. Khun Deng and George are such wonderful hosts- friendly, thoughtful, great company! Due to Covid cancellations, we actually had the resort all to ourselves, but this made us feel like we were being welcomed into their home, and we were looked after so well. They helped us with laundry, helped us find a very reasonable taxi back to Phuket (the driver was excellent), gave us great tips on places to visit in the area and George even gave us a lift to Ao Nang pier when we needed to go. The only tiny point to note was our driver had a tough time finding the place on Google maps, if you travel from Ao Nang it's well signposted, but just be aware that you may need your driver to ask locals for directions (if you get stuck, just say 'Ding Daeng Doi' or 'international school'- these are landmarks nearby). If we were ever back in the area we would certainly stay again, I can't recommend it enough.

Sehr gepflegtes und sauberes Resort. Die Gartenanlage und der Pool sind wunderbar. Die Gastgeber sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gibt Roller inkl. Tipps zum leihen in der Unterkunft. Uns waren lediglich die Matratzen zu hart. Weiter so!

Leider waren wir im März/ April 2022 nur 16 Tage an diesem wundervollen Ort. Gäbe es 6 Sterne, so würden selbst diese für uns angemessen sein. Wer nicht den großen Trubel sucht, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. 15 Minuten benötigt man nur mit dem Auto zu dem Trubel in dem Strandort Ao Nang mit einem schönen Strand, den wir auch mehrfach besucht hatten, und zu Cafés und Geschäften. Blind konnten wir uns auf Empfehlungen von Deng und insbesondere Georg verlassen, die uns unseren Wünschen entsprechend beraten hatten. SO fanden wir auch Strände und Orte, die wir selbst mit unserer Thai-Simskarte kaum gefunden hätten. Gerne sind wir auch Georg und Deng zu Einladungen Ihrer verschiedenen Freunde aus aller Herren Länder gefolgt. Beide sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Auf das Frühstück mit verschiedenen Früchten, nach Wunsch zubereiteten Eiern, Speck und einem sehr leckeren Brot, das Georg von einem französischen Bäcker stets organisierte. Abends gab es sehr schmackhaft zubereitete, meist thailändische Speisen, aber auch Gerichte nach europäischem Geschmack. Auch ausgefallene Gerichte, wie einmal gegrillte Ameisen auf meinen speziellen Wunsch oder ganze gegrillte Fische. Auch die Bar versorgte uns ausgezeichnet mit gutem englischen Whiskey oder auch sehr gutem europäischem Wein. Die Unterkunft war größer und besser ausgestattet als man hätte erwarten dürfen. Eine bodentiefe große Dusche und ein sehr gutes Bett erfreute uns stets. Das Zimmer war eher eine größere Suite und wartete mit einer sehr großen Terrasse auf. Der Pool und auch der Billardtisch rundeten das Angebot ab. Wir können Chanapha Residenz nur wärmstens empfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Sabine und Johannes Weissenberger

Il faut être là,au moins une fois … ..Parce que il y a Daeng et George,généreux propriétaires pour lesquels l’accueil et l’hospitalité sont essentiels.. ..Parce que le lieu est charmant : belles villas thaïes à la solide construction,chambres spacieuses,salles de bains fonctionnelles ..par ce que le jardin tropical parfaitement entretenu entoure une piscine où l’on peut nager ..parce que les petits déjeuners y sont délicieux,les repas excellents ..parce que le staff est présent,efficace et bienveillant ..et pour tout le reste …les chants d’oiseaux le matin,les coqs et les poules,les chiens de la maison sympathiques et malins,les scooters,le chant du muezzin,les apéritifs ,les draps frais… Et parce que l’on est là ,à la campagne mais que tout est à portée d’un tour en scooter Alors pour nous c’était retour à Chanapha Résidence,séjour prévu avec Éric pour un mois ,transformé en deux mois, et nous nous souviendrons de surtout revenir… Ka Pom!
