ココナッツ ラグーン - CGH アース(Coconut Lagoon Kumarakom- CGH Earth)

We had an incredible holiday at this charming resort in India, and we cannot recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff and the local ***ager made us feel truly welcomed. The whole team from receptionists, the service for breakfast, lunch, teatime and dinner, the cooking trainers, Ayurveda massage team, the cleanig and support team up to the team on the pool, entertainment, all of them are doing everything to ensure a pleasant and unforgetable stay. And the culinary experience is exceptional; the chefs and their team are preparing daily a delightful and rich of variations and array of dishes that satisfied our taste palete very much, and with special attention to my health concerns. Finally, we would like to thank very much for the warmth of the entire team, and we know, that we bring home to Austria brilliant memories of our wonderful time here. R. & R.

Beautiful location set on the Appelley backwaters. Friendly staff and clean rooms but they are quite dated. We stayed in one of the bungalows. I loved the outside bathroom but it was a bit of a tripping hazard for my 75yr old mother to get to especially during the night. Beds were awful. About 3ft off the floor which is not ideal for an elderly/less agile person to get in/out of. Also they were very uncomfortable, like sleeping on a hard board. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the only thing that lets this place down is the beds.

It was a pleasant stay at Coconut Lagoon. The entire cottages and restaurants are set up in Kerala traditional ***ner, ***y of them were 130 year old Brahmin houses and Christian ***sions. We enjoyed the vast 30 plus acres property, especially 1 hour sunset cruise in Vembanad Lake ***** with the detailed destination description by Mr. Pratheesh and the flute play by the in-house musician. The morning bird watching session was also unique & wonderful. All the staffs were friendly and helpful. Minimum 2 days stay is required to enjoy the beauty of this resort. Buffet breakfast and other meals were excellent.

We stayed at coconut lagoon on the second week of April.The stay was great.Special thanks to housekeeping staff Ajeena and Joel .I am amazed how they ***age to keep the whole hotel spotless clean and shining.We stayed at their duplex rooms which were ancient architecture.A must visit.The naturalist explained about the history of the hotel.Amazing hitea experience.Lots of lovely little birds and chipmunks all around..Worth the money spent .Would come back Thank you.

Our stay at the resort was very pleasant. Perhaps one of the best resorts I have stayed at in india. Well maintained serene environment, friendly staff, mind-blowing food and tons of activities to do. The region around the Vembanadu lake is rich in bio-diversity. Our guide and naturalist Vishu did a great job giving a bird watching tour early in the morning. Even for an off season, we could spot at least 12 to 15 varieties of birds right within the vicinity of the resort.Highly recommend this place if you plan to unwind

The group of CGH hotels that we visited on our tour were all amazing and Coconut Lagoon was no exception. Such a beautiful tranquil setting, only accessible by boat. The sunset cruise was a delight and so peaceful. The food was very good and the rooms very comfortable.

Nestled amidst the serene landscape of beautiful lake and lush greenery, Coconut lagoon is a great place for families looking for a nice break from city life. From the moment you take a beautiful boat ride to the property you know it's a special place. The staff was amazing! There were loads of activities within the property hence for the 4 nights we never bothered to stepped outside. We specifically loved how all the Naturalist ( Pradheesh, Vishnu and Anjana) were very well versed with the area and the birds. From impeccable service and friendly reception staff who ensured every part of the stay was just perfect! The food was lovely - we enjoyed all our meals, desserts and especially the tea time. Thanks to Rohith (dining) The SPA was also amazing!

An amazing location with waterways running through the property grounds. We attended one of the Ayurvedic talks and the Dr gave us an introduction to Ayurveda and how to understand our dosha’s - we appreciated her spending the time with us. We attended the yoga and meditation also, and the guy was fantastic and meditation was very relaxing and sounds of nature all around.

Had the best time here it was soo peaceful and nice. Definitely coming back here again. We did kayaking ***** woth the instructor Alshay and it was simply amazing! You should also definitely try out the off beat cycling tour in the morning which is conducted by Vishnu! He took us through the village and we thoroughly enjoyed.
