A very well maintained hotel, with very courteous staff. The hotel has an attached Vegetarian Restaurant that is ***aged and run independent of the hotel. There is plenty of car park available in the basement. Very centrally located in a market area.

One of the finest experience overall ! Rooms are really big with good ambiance. Though their tariff does not come with complimentary breakfast, there is a restaurant attached to the hotel on the ground floor, which provides high quality multi cuisine menu. Service standards of the hotel are also excellent and incredibly quick. FO executives Rajesh and Senthil stood out with their warm attitude and willingness to help at all times. Given the proximity to the market place (about 500m walk), the stay at RG was all the more a joyful experience.

Clean rooms and very near to most places. It is very near to the Mahamagam tank. The rooms have been recently upgraded so it looks very clean. They have room service coffee and available at very early time too. Will definitely stay there again.

Good location just on Mahamakam tank . Spacious room; very clean. Customer friendly staff. Well maintained hotel. Staff take care of all legitimate requests . The hotel has good parking space for car.

this hotel exactly on the banks of mahamaham tank is a pleasure to stay. good rooms with neat linen. very professional staff with pleasing service. basement car parking facility with rooms for drivers to stay are the main advantage. the front office staff could be a bit more pleasant and smiling. this would add more value.

Great location, crisp clean white bed linen and towels, good and renovated rooms/ bathrooms, very popular restaurant, and room service serving hot tea/ coffee from 5.30 in the morning. All this at a great price. Don’t think you can ask for more…

Raya’s Grand, facing Mahamaham Tank in the city centre, offers assured basement car parking with complete driver stay arrangements. The premises & facilities are spotlessly clean. Our Deluxe double room was spacious - around 360sft, not 180sft wrongly listed - with a flood of natural light from a large bay window. Centralised AC can be every effectively custom-controlled to personal comfort. Wi-fi in the room is effective. Hot water in the shower is instant, even at 5am. Housekeeping is prompt. Room Service is swift. The Electric Kettle has no materials to prepare tea/coffee but we found the swift Room Service for coffee even at 0530hrs a better option. The restaurant offers efficient responsive Service of a wide choice on the Menu. Food items are all well made with generous portions. We were pleasantly surprised to find Veg Noodles prepared so tastily with minimal spices. Every floor has a spacious well-furnished lobby. All hotel staff, from Security at gate to the Hotel ***ager, are attentive, responsive & courteous. A good buffet breakfast with fruit juice & cut fruits would have made our excellent stay a notch even more delightful.

I stayed here June 2022 for a night. On checking into the allocated room I found it was a very basic room. When closing the door of the room I struggled to lock it. The lock wouldn't work. Couple of staff members helped me to lock the door. I was given WIFI access on request. I stayed there for the sole purpose of going to 3 temples. On arrival the restaurant was closing at 3.30 pm and reopening in the evening. Had to a tiffin hurridly. Next morning had a breakfast at the restaurant. It was okay. Checked out without any issues. Will I stay there again? Probably not.
