The place is fabulous with lots of flowers grown around the garden The rooms are clean and nicely decorated with hot bed mattress and hot shower ! Feel so comfy The restaurants serves home cook food with fresh ingredients available in season season The lady boss is super friendly and accommodating ! Worth the visit here and will definitely stay here again when come to Dongchuan red earth county

I like the cozy decoration there. The room has a big window with very nice view. The owners are super friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again if I travel to Dongchuan Red Land

The hotel is nice and clean. Very good location for visiting Dongchuan red land. The owner is very friendly lady. She even upgraded us with room. All the rooms are spacious. They made delicious dinner

The location was convenient and the rooms were clean.  The lady boss was friendly, warm and welcoming.  Her cooking skill is super, providing us with delicious charcoal cook chicken... wooooo.... yummy yummy 

Location is okay: close to some viewpoints but there's not many services nearby. Food in the hotel is decent. Need some basic features like curtain for the bathroom window.

**Review for Homestay Hotel** I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay hotel, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the lovely owners, a friendly couple with three children. The rooms were equipped to keep us warm, featuring cozy furnishings and thoughtful amenities that made our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the complimentary bowl of noodles for breakfast—absolutely delicious and a perfect start to our day! The lady boss of the homestay was particularly welcoming; she invited us to gather around the heater making us felt right at home. She also generously shared some of the delicious BBQ tofu she was grilling with us . ☺️🥰 Overall, this homestay hotel offers not just a place to stay, but an experience filled with warmth, great food, and genuine hospitality. It is also near all the scenic spots . I can't wait to return!

Great location to explore the Red Land, with local food to go along …

Fantastic hotel in middle of the red lands. The staff is lovely and provide local beautiful and luxury tour for the best photo spots. Would recommend 10/10

Wangshan Guesthouse is like home away from home. Wonderful meals and comfortable rooms with lovely views. Our hostess is warm and caring as is the driver Mr Shi whom she recommended to drive us around Dongchuan for our 3day 2 nights stay. Dongchuan itself is a manmade marvel. Very memorable visit thanks to the wonderful hospitality of Wangshan Guesthouse.

A very warm place and the boss is very friendly. The food is so nice from local farm. She allowed us to go to their other 民宿to take sunset pic which is perfect location. Highly recommend.

The view from room was pretty

Loved my stay here, room was clean and modern with full facilities and electric blanket. Owners were very warm and friendly, and also upgraded our rooms. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, every meal was delicious, it's home styled Chinese cooking using home grown produce. The hotel is quite central to all the sights of dongchuan red land (about 10- 20mins drive), the owner even help to arrange a very friendly driver for us to tour the sights and transport us to and fro from Kunming . 10/10 would recommend this place again! 非常满意！房子很大很干净，很有现代感，老板娘也非常友善和热心，还帮升级我们的房子。 我们三餐都在这里吃，没一顿都有家乡菜的美味, 蔬菜和肉都是自家的 ～ 旅馆离红土的景点都很近，老板娘还帮忙安排司机来 带我们从昆明游游东川两日游。能再来东川的话，真的会推荐这里呀！

A small hotel run by a very friendly family.Traditional Chinese breakfast.Possible to order lunch and dinner.The host is attentive to all the requests. Don't expect traditional coffee.Only tea,but can buy coffee for breakfast by your request which is 3 in 1( +sugar and milk powder).
