Hôtel très soigné , personnel très agréable

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Castel Marie-louise. I was impressed with the level of luxury for the price on the beach. The room, bed and bath were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing! I was working and my husband was sightseeing. I would highly recommend it.

This hotel is really 5 * The architecture is stunning and the luxury through out the hotel is first class. Parking in La Baule is challenging - all on street. The Hotel has there own private Car Park which is very convenient but it is expensive at 22 Euros per night! The Staff are very attentive to ensure your stay is first class. I wished we had booked to stay longer. We booked through Brittany Ferries who provided us with a very concessionary rate!

My husband and I went to stay in this hotel for 3 days. It was a fantastic hotel. The price was expensive but this hotel deserves it. The breakfast cost 20 EU per person. It was a great start of the day to have a nice breakfast in a well setting restaurant. The room was nice and clean. I especially love the bath salt, they provided in the bathroom and the milk body lotion, which you can really use it, unlike many places that the quality of bathing stuffs aren't qualified enough. The dinner is quite costly. The car parking is about 13 or 15 eu per day. Thank you very much for a perfect stay for us!!

Lovely comfortable bed superior room was quite spacious large marble bathroom tho care needed exiting shower with wet feet. Separate loo. Water v tepid 1st day but this was rectified within 30 mins. The whole team could not have made us more welcome and we had great service throughout our stay. Wifi free but seemed to drop out a lot with complicated code to reset. Delicious lunch memorable wine 99 Oaked muscadet. Seasonal menu 2 courses+ glass wine + coffee excellent value. Unlike dinner cost € 250 for 2 a la carte courses nice amuse bouche & per starter fois gras vg but though my turbot was cooked presentation on bed of fennel sticks was not to my taste. T had blue lobster tasted ok but hovered in foam did not look appetising 1 glass champagne each 1 glass wine. Too expensive for what it was. Would certainly consider staying again tho decor is a bit dated and doors creak & lock of door v stiff. May eat elsewhere.

Very beautiful old building, rooms are vintage, the garden is great. Restaurant was excellent, food and wine really great. The staff was very nice. We loved taking the bikes from the hotel to go to Guerande and Salines.

Outstanding. The room was clean and beautiful. If I have 1 complaint its I would like a grab rail to help get in and out of shower. I was afraid of falling when wet and stepping down the side. Restaurant for both evening meal and breakfast was superb. Chef deserves a star for his effort work and innovative creations. The spider crab using all parts of crab was divine. Silver service breakfast was beautifully served, fresh and amazing choice right down to fresh oysters! The staff! Well what can I say except to praise there attention to detail and smile at every corner. Even offered us water or anything else to take with us on our onward journey. Great position for beach and town Visit if you can you will not be dissappointed
