Staff lovely - very attentive. Food good but buffet always cold. Plenty new towels daily in room. Super location for touring/viewing the area. Pool area cleaned daily.

Great staff, breakfast had so much choice and fantastic value.

Needs a refurb but for the price it’s good, excellent location

We booked dinner bed and breakfast..... breakfast lovely but dinner each evening was disappointing......the head receptionist was most unhelpful when we brought it to his attention......we tried to cancel our evening meal but he told us we couldn't get a refund for the rest of our stay.....we booked and paid for12 nights and after 3 nights we did not want to eat there...he said it was our loss. He was very rude and unhelpful..all the other staff were lovely. The hotel is very good but we wouldn't book dinner there again.

The hotel is in a prime location which is great. However, it is not the required standard of a 4* hotel at all! The rooms are spacious and clean, the cleaning staff are great - very frustrating there was no use of an iron or ironing board which is essential to most guests. The only one buffet dining room is dark and depressing, no natural light. Fortunately, our room was pool facing which I requested after reading reviews of the smelly riverside on the rear of the property. The worst problem of all is the pool sun beds area which consist of part concrete and 3 main areas of grass, which were like swamps in some parts and muddy everywhere else!! This is because at night they hose down all the sun beds in there positions on the grass and as you can imagine the grass gets sopping wet and muddier and muddier - hence you need to wash your muddy feet before entering the pool - completely unacceptable!!!! We have been to many, many hotels with grass areas and never experienced this before. This hotel has a ‘captive audience’ in La Cala and should invest in concreting the whole area around the pool, the grass areas do not enhance the space, in fact the opposite when it is always a muddy mess and then expect their guests to just put up with it. The low rating reviews will continue to substantiate these ‘below par’ experiences from their guests.

Have been many times to this hotel but this time found standards have slipped. Reception male staff were in my opinion arrogant as I wished to change room. The hot food in diningroom was Luke warm to the point of being cold at 7.00 when dining doors opened. We heard others complaining about this too. Variety of food too has slipped

We had 2 separate stays. One in premium room and one in comfort room. Premium Room was high floor and excellent view over pool and sea. Comfort room was still as comfortable but looked like it needed a paint and also smelled slightly of smoke. Low floor with a rubbish view. We went room only both times as we had read bad reviews about the food in the dining room. Ate once at pool bar and ordered a burger which had a really soggy bottom so didn’t eat there again. Pool bar has fresh water available to everyone for free which was good. Could do with more staff on reception, only ever seemed to be one person and sometimes a long wait to speak to someone, especially at check in times. Pool does not have a deep end and is shallow but that suited us as we just wanted to cool down in it and not swim. Close walk to lots of bars and restaurants and right on the beach.

Hotel offers great value for money, especially when you chose all inclusive. Beach literally in front of the hotel, great comfy beds, great air conditioning, good choice of food and overall very good service. The only thing that let the hotel down a bit is the animation, the acts could be improved but as we didn't have small children to entertain, this didn't affect us too much.
