Property was in a not nice area, far from the life and quite shady. Property was perhaps ok for family but nothing near charming for couples. For the same price were dozens of better options. Very unsure how they got the good stars, really. Would I return? Definitely no.

Beautiful property with large, well-maintained rooms and kitchen. Sager, the property Manager, was incredibly nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Despite being opposite the main beach, a 1-minute walk led to a private beach where I caught a stunning sunset. Highly recommend!

We had a nice stay. The staff is very friendly & the atmosphere at La digue is delightful. The chalet are nice even there were no proper living room & the mattress in our room was a bit hard.

Fantastis stay! Very spacious units are across the road from the private beach. The beach is shallow but this is pretty much like everywhere in La Digue: on the west coast it is shallow, on the east coast quite deep but you can't swim because of the big swell. They got kind of rustic federation furniture, very cute. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering even a rice cooker. There is also a chef working on site, very good cook! Continental breakfast for 15 Euro probably not worth it but his creole cooking is fabulous. Because we stayed there for more than 7 nights business treated us with complimentary dinner on last night - outstanding grilled fish! And you can rent a bycicle onsite. The only downside was the state of their facilities, the premises are outdated and could benefit from some refurbishment: in the kitchen the ceiling fan was stuck on one speed and the chain switch was missing, oven seal was broken so the door would not shut completely pushing plenty of heat out. But the main good impression is their staff. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and Junia is a gem! She kept our chalet immaculately clean and helped with some advices. P.S. When we were leaving they started a construction of a big restaurant on the beach so I am not sure how good it is there now.

We were on 3 islands on Seychelles and it was the best place. Stuff is great, special Junia-brain and heart of resort. When I said ''we are just married" they organize dinner in restaurant (in resort) for us as a gift. Food were fantastic, but fish, done bu stuff, were the best on the world. Place is quiet, green, with private beach, where water is clear and quiet. Cleaning everyday. Stuff help with everything - rent bicycles, voyage, information etc. Close to jungle. Everything perfect! If we will back to Seychelles, we will go there. Best regards for stuff!

We stayed 4 nights at Le Surmer. At the check-in we got a good introduction of the the accommodation and the island. I highly appreciated! Nice clean, big rooms with good kitchen equipment. One notice: every day much flowers on the bed was nice but not necessary. Only one flower will do or I rather see these flowers in the garden;-) We decided to have breakfast every morning and it was good, fresh fruits, pancakes and eggs. The staff Sagar and Junia were very kind and so helpfull and thoughtfull. I highly recommend this accommodation on La Digue! It's just minutes walk/biking nearby Helipad, St Mary's Hospital and Union Estate. They currently are building a new swimmingpool and restaurant on the opposite road next to the beach. We didn't experienced any disturbance about the construction works. If possible we definately would come back to see the results!
