This place is a Frank Lloyd Wright house. Seriously. And the people are incredibly nice. If this hotel wasn't so amazing, I'd have checked out and ran. The rest of this place is Fuddruckers at Times Square. An incredible tourist trap, with no redeeming qualities. The hotel, should be a national treasure though.

Suwa Villa Arenal is a MUST STAY in La Fortuna. The property is simply gorgeous - the details of the property and thoughtfulness of the room design are luxurious. Calm, peaceful, beautiful wood paneling, patio seating & fire pit, fresh coffee in our room - every detail was carefully designed for a perfect stay. It is honestly one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed in. Gorgeous, perfect location, excellent. Raúl, Suwa’s host, made our stay perfect. He is an outstanding host!! Thank you Raúl for making sure we had everything we needed during our stay! Raúl helped arrange all of our tours, and gave great local food recommendations. Suwa only recommends the best of the best to do in La Fortuna. We loved Suwa.

Suwa is beyond perfect, we stayed for 2 nights and just came back home talking about all the great things the hotel has. From the perfect design to the amazing view to the volcano, everything was spectacular. Also we had great communication and we loved it that much that we are going back on a week! ＜3 Please make your stay unmemorable by going to SUWA!

My fiancé and I stayed at Suwa Villa during our time in La Fortuna. Honestly can’t say enough great things about the hotel and the owners! Jorge and Allan went above and beyond with their customer service from the time we arrived to the time we left. They were so accommodating for providing us a place to stay last minute after we left a bad Vrbo experience. Fresh, chilled coconut waters for both of us, a beautiful and very clean room throughout our stay, wonderful AC in the unit, beautiful patio area with our room, and personal recommendations for places to eat and things to do within the area. You can really tell how much Jorge and Allan care for their customers and their property. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area!

What to say about this hotel...its amazing. We ve been travelling around Costa Rica and Panama for 8 weeks and we all agree...this is the BEST place we ve stayed. The hosts are so welcoming, they gave e us lots of recommendations and even booked our trips for us. The room is wonderful with a coffee machine, lovely fluffy towels and a cosy bed. It's been done really well with great views and 2 little verandas. There's a shared kitchen with lots of equipment and utensils...a gem of a place.

This villa is more of a hotel experience with the attention from the hosts, welcome amenities and overall comfort of the home/ villa. I didn't think that a home this luxurious existed so close to town. From here, you can walk to restaurants, grocery stores, local cafes and so much more! Jorge and Allen are the sweetest hosts and make sure that not one detail is missed. Also, the archtiecture and well thought-out rooms are one of a kind! There's plenty of space for everyone, a common kitchen area and beautiful gardens. 100% reccomend!!

Nos recibieron con dos bebidas de coco y la habitación estaba preparada co música ambiental y aire acondicionado. Estaba todo muy ordenado y decorado. Se trata de habitaciones muy nuevas y amplias con todo tipo de comodidades: aire acondicionado, tv, wifi, minibar muy completo y servicio de limpieza impecable. Además, cuenta con todo tipo de accesorios de aseo personal de muy buena calidad. La ubicación es perfecta, ya que puedes ir andando a cualquier sitio de La Fortuna. Nosotros fuimos a desayunar y a cenar y nunca andamos más de 5 minutos. Hemos echado mucho de menos Suwa en los días posteriores de nuestro viaje en Costa Rica porque fue perfecto. El mejor sitio donde nos hospedamos de los 5 que estuvimos en nuestro viaje a Costa Rica. ¡Volveremos!
