アルベルゴ テルメ サンロレンツォ(Hotel San Lorenzo Thermal Spa)

We think that the hotel is not bad, but not great either. First thing to note is the hotel’s location is quite far (20min) from main terminal, BUT has a bus stop right in front. Secondly, hotel is already very old, and guests mainly are older gentlemen and ladies. Pool facilities which were advertised as 38C were mostly 30-36 at best. The hot tub hard carried our stay. Since the island is quite expensive in general now, a visit to this place do give it some thought.

This is a lovely hotel very close to Lacco Ameno, with a choice of thermal and sea water pools. The hotel also has a Spa. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, with an excellent GM, Camillo. Had a wonderful relaxing time.

Nice property. The 2 gentleman at the front desk were extremely helpful and nice. Getting us a scooter, a cab some late night pizza. Breakfast included was ok. Mostly breads and sweets, danishes, cheese and some meat slices. There is assigned seating which no one informed us about till we sat at the wrong table and had bees there for 10 minutes eating. Bed isn’t that comfortable and pillows. Showere has nice hot water. Tv but no Netflix. Very nice front porches with great views. Balconies with great views. 2 small outside hot pools. 1 big nice hot pool. 2 inside smaller hot pools. The waterfall pool was closed. The grounds are beautiful lush with plants and trees. Beautiful views all around.

Somewhere an Italian version of Readers Digest is promoting this hotel to older adults in Italy because it feels like a cross between a retirement community and Butlins. It predominantly caters for older Italians and singles. The photographs do not reflect reality, money has been spent on glitzy promotion rather than upkeep. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and were only permitted to sit on our alloted table in the inside breakfast room. The day we arrived the staff were distracted so we showed ourselves around. There were some particularly depressing pictures on the communal staircases. The room was a 'classic' despite paying a premium and we had no view or balcony-we were on the ground floor behind a hedge and the carpark. It was our 10th wedding anniversary and I'd sent a message in advance requesting a balcony. Everything in the room worked well and it was clean but old and in need of an upgrade. The facilities are run down. The spa facilities need attention and upkeep and there is equipment stored in the outside showers. On a positive note the gardens are well maintained and lovely and the hotel is 7 mins walk to Lacco Ameno down a steep flight of stairs. Lacco Ameno has a good range of restaurants and a lovely harbour for evening walks. There are bus stops outside the hotel to travel around the island. All journeys are €1.50. This is a buyer beware sort of place unless you are over 70, Italian and not that fussy.

Amazing property! The hotel was lovely and very convenient for spending time at Negombo. The staff was helpful and the room comfortable.

Hotel con tutti i comfort, personale gentile e disponibile. Colazione e cena con ampia scelta e di qualità. Piscine termali a disposizione e spiaggia di san Montano raggiungibile a piedi. Ci siamo stati più volte e lo consiglio anche per la posizione strategica

Difetti : Camere piccole con bagno grande o camera più grande con bagno piccolo. Letto matrimoniale mal divisibile in ambienti ristretti. Piscina termale al chiuso opprimente. Piscinette sp**** lungo un percorso un po’ buio in serata. Cena con alternative ma un po’ monotona e con creazioni spesso improbabili. Pregi : Location molto bella anche senza sole. Personale gentilissimo , sempre disponibile e professionale con proposte giornaliere per visite ed escursioni. Grande pulizia degli ambienti . Colazione con ampia disponibilità di dolce e salato. Servizio navetta per il centro e per il traghetto.

Albergo in ottima posizione , vista molto bella , navetta efficiente per centro paese Tutto il personale è molto efficiente , professionale , sorridente Le uniche note stonate sono : - piscina : un bagno uomo / donna non è sufficiente , ne occorrerebbero due , provvisti inoltre di un tombino per scarico acqua perché molti vanno in bagno appena usciti dalla doccia e il pavimento risulta poco igienico -frigo in camera : datato e rumorosissimo , assurdo il tavolino sotto come negli alberghi anni 50/60 - bollitore in camera ( non basta , occorre anche un set infusi , the , caffè ( ma alla reception hanno subito provveduto comunque ) - rumore porte ( ma colpa dei clienti maleducati che sbattono la porta uscendo non accompagnandola con la chiave ) ( avvisi in camera ?) Carenze quindi strutturali non dovute al personale Lo staff dà il massimo
