My room was not ready, despite trying to check in an hour and a half past the posted check in time. (I understand that staffing is an issue in many industries.) The room smelled VERY strongly of unpleasant, synthetic, sweet fruit (a plug-in). After I removed it from the wall, the smell of the plug-in finally dissipated and was replaced by musty odor. Perhaps the carpets and furnishings need a deep clean. I expected more from a Hilton property - especially at this price point. I had to wash everything in my bag to remove the cheap air freshener smell.
