We were the only guests. The breakfast was a little disappointing. Other than that is was a nice stay

I was looking for a cheap alternative to the downtown Ithaca hotels so I went with Cayuga Blu. Hotel was dated as expected. We caught it on a slow night so maybe 8 to 10 cars total in the lot. Front desk was friendly. Room was clean. TV worked. Complimentary coffee was good 😎. (We skipped the free breakfast but it looked decent). Walking distance to YMCA, ***** mall stores and a few restaurants. My only complaint is that the exterior doors around the hotel are unlocked 24/7... you did not need a room key to walk in any of the doors at any time. Not a good feeling. Other than that it's a great value hotel location and I would stay again.

Clocks didnt work. Heater was noisy and would trip off. Security not good in building. All doors around building unlocked at all times. No visible cameras. Anyone could enter the building. Also, the fire door was propped open.

Overall, it was a decent stay for the price. I will say that cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom as it is more noticeable. The reclining chair in the room was stained, making me uncomfortable, and I did not want to sit in it. But, the Kind Size bed made the trip, it was super comfortable and spacious. The workers were pleasant and it was quiet, so I got to relax.

Exterior doors should be secure, they are not. The property is in dire need of updating. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The room was clean. Beds were pretty comfortable. Staff was great. But everything other than the lobby was quite dated. Just rusted and worn out. The weight room wasn't useful. Broken and unmaintained equipment. If you just need a place to sleep then it's fine. Too pricey for anything else though.

As soon as we walked in the entire place smelled like sewer So gross. The bathrooms in the pool area all backup with poo Staff was very nice Feel bad that they have to work in such poor work conditions

Just stayed one night to crash and use pool. Room was completely fine but bathroom was a bit dated. Doorway light was not working. Pool area was a wreck. Hot tub and sauna were both out of commission, with visible signs of abuse and lack of care. Bathrooms adjacent to pool area were really gross, with men's room completely shut down. Restaurant area was DATED, straight out of the 70's. This hotel just needs some love, attention and updating and has major potential.

Decent rooms. Bathrooms and carpet were very old. Weekend hot breakfast was awesome. I would stay again.
