A very large resort a small supermarket but if not all inclusive would be a problem as to getting cabs to the local town could get expensive Night life for kids good but adults cannot even seat outside in the evening s with a drink as pool bar closes at 6 pm Unless you go to the payable restaurants and champs sports bar not very good if paid for all inclusive We was in block 7 but as there are still steps to the lift if getting on a bit would be a problem as me and my wife 70 and 65 years Overall as we had our son his wife and 3 small grandchildren but they 4 minutes walk away why we wasn’t put nearer each other one would never know but we did not book at the same time they were near the reception and dinning room but did have a few cockroaches in there room trying to use the microwave Overall good resort large pools

We returned from this hotel, after a week, yesterday. We hired a car at the airport and to be honest, if you’re staying here, you need one! There is nothing, close by apart from the hotel. The resort of Teguise is probably a forty minute walk but you can get a bus from outside the hotel. The room was lovely, recently renovated with loads of space, a large balcony too and we had paid for a sea view. We also had a fabulous view of the power station with smoke coming out of the chimneys …. not sure how healthy that is! The cleaning was hit and miss, you couldn’t walk barefoot on the floor because it definitely wasn’t cleaned properly. It was all a bit of a rush job, make the bed, change the towels , that’s it. We were half board and the food was the worst bit. Unless you got to the restaurant for 6.30 ish you ended up queuing for a table, not what you want on holiday. The food was worryingly cool and we avoided meat for safety reasons. Salad was very basic and the food in general wasn’t that great. Breakfast was better but stuff like bacon and sausages looked a bit grim, we had mainly dry stuff and fruit. Even the yogurt was in big bowls, uncovered with people breathing over it and dipping in… yum The island of Lanzarote has improved so much since our last visit, ten years ago , we drove all over and it’s so beautiful and unspoiled. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday but I think we will rent an apartment next time.

Booked & stayed for 9 nights in Late January, very pleased all round. Food was plentiful, plates were hot, selection was marvellous, nothing to complain about. Reception Staff were brilliant, cleaning Lady was full of personality, bar staff were good. Location was perfect one Euro to get into Town on the bus or four Euros in taxi and all were similar. Great walk along the promenade to Costa Teguise Town 50 metre pool was well worth the 3 Euro charge, lots of activity in the day, evening entertainment did show some great Artists, especially the 3 singers. All in All I cannot wait to return. 5++++++++++++++++

On then whole a very enjoyable break. We went half board but when we realised the town centre is 30 mins walk away we upgraded to all inclusive. That said, we didn’t realise about the busses being so regular and cheap. I think though it was the right decision. We stayed in the part next to the beach. Think that was also the right decision. It seemed more relaxed than the other section. Hotel was kept clean and tidy and always seemed to have plenty of staff working. There was a good selection of food in the main restaurant and the poolside bar did decent snacks. Can’t comment about the pools as I never went in them. There’s a sport bar within the hotel grounds. Drink there aren’t included in the package. I went there to watch football. My pint cost over €6 which I thought was expensive. I went in to town instead to watch the games. Local beer is €2.50. The town centre is good for a wander around If you ever want some time out of the hotel. We were going to go to the market on the Sunday but the bus drove passed us as it was full. If you do want to go, it might be worth considering this. Only ‘downside’ were on a couple of occasions we had an early night. The entertainment was loud and we could clearly hear it in our room on the 6th floor. It did though finish about 10ish so not too bad

This hotel is wonderful and the staff are so helpful and polite, nothing is to much trouble, the facilities are amazing and such a picturesque view from our balcony. The food is delicious too! I can't wait to see you again in August!! Great location, good value for money and wonderful amenities.

Excellent rooms staff food very nice and varied stayed royal level all inclusive - the infinity pool bar is great not too busy - would definitely come back- had a complimentary cheese and wine ( all canarian) hosted by Iker he was fantastic - went to the Koi Restraunt food ok but if I had not had AI voucher would not have been happy paying g €45 per head

Went All Inclusive for 10 nights 18th to 28th April 2024. Bit of a mixed bag for me. Arrived 9pm - dropped bags in room 1003 - initially not impressed. Room had an underlying smell (drains/sewer) and having paid for sea view was a tad disappointing - see photo of Tree View rather than Sea View. Reported the smell and guy turned up pretty quick and put liquid in shower drain. We decided to give it a go. Sadly as holiday progressed room smell didn’t improve and we had the added bonus of regular cockroach visits - including on the bed. Eventually had to request a move which happened quickly and with no fuss. There were a number of complaints from guests on cockroaches in their rooms - it is the Canaries and these things happen but seemed to be a few people impacted by them. Hotel is a good 35 mins walk to the main square in Costa Teguise. Taxi only 3.50 euro. Hotel is split in two by a road. We were on the sea side. Really enjoyed the food and drink and staff were really friendly and engaging. Not much entertainment on the sea side of the hotel - understood the opposite side was better. There is a sports bar on the non sea side of the hotel but not covered by AI. Also two restaurants and a mini golf - also not part of AI. Pool area had plenty of beds but most shaded heavily at parts of the day by lots and lots of Trees.You can eat breakfast lunch and dinner in the restaurant but also a nice snack available in pool bar. Definitely a hotel that plays to people paying for Royal Level. We enjoyed our holiday mainly due to staff and food but not somewhere we would probably not go back to.

27/04/24 Just returned from our 8th visits over the years with different owners from it being a Be live the Occidental and now the Barcelo active. My opinion is that the hotel has lost its way and doesn’t quite know what it wants to be IE active ;family; couples. Positives about this hotel 15 minutes from the airport 22 euros Excellent Staff Very good evening drinks Excellent bread Lovely omelettes for breakfast Tasty wine Pools towels If All inclusive Comfortable rooms Lovely big towels Very clean and tidy Negatives Freezing cold pools take wet suits for kids Luke warm food Dangerous lids on food My option BASIC entertainment in the evening TV channels non excitant in English ( down load things for kids) Lots of broken sun lounger Will we return Yes but on the Royal level. Your pool bar staff are excellent

Amazing place with a warm welcome. The apartment is a good size with the comfiest, biggest bed we’ve stayed in. The complex is clean and the staff are warm and friendly without being over familiar. A huge choice available at the buffet catering for fitness fans and alternative diets. There are no short measures with the alcohol. Would highly recommend for couples and families
