Awesome peaceful, clean and zen property in Las Galeras. Host was extremely attentive, welcoming and very focused on providing a positive experience. The area was magical and peaceful. Beach was about 5-7 min walk away from hotel. Breakfast was creative and filling. My room was just what I needed in order to achieve a great night’s sleep. The bed was the best thus far in La República Dominicana. Overall I had a magical stay.

21 Palms provides the perfect marriage between the solitude of an idyllic paradise and the creature comforts of a hotel. The rooms themselves are planted in the midst of palm trees and bushes of wild flowers, a 360-degree view of nature. Within a short walk, a pristine beach awaits, its waters nestled in a small bay. Few people come here, although we saw our share of horses and cattle strolling by. We often had the beach to ourselves. Our stay was peaceful, romantic, and relaxing, but we also had all of our needs met. Our room was spacious and air-conditioned with a working refrigerator and stove. The beds were comfortable, with room service provided daily. There are even fresh flowers and fruit for each room, a thoughtful extra touch. Breakfast was perfect, a variety of tropical fruit, fresh-squeezed juice, coffee, and a pressed ham and cheese sandwich. We had the option to buy groceries at the nearby market and cook our meals, go to the restaurants in town, or ask Andrea ( the owner of 21 Palms) to call for food delivery. He has a variety of menus for the guests to choose from. Andrea told us that he plans to open an Italian restaurant on the premises, which would be amazing. We would love to come back and eat there. The bar is a great feature of the hotel. It’s open until 10 pm, and it’s a great way to socialize with the other guests. It’s a relaxed environment with very nice people from all over the world. Las Galeras is a great place to stay in The DR. There are many beautiful beaches and rivers accessible by car or boat. The area is peaceful with a small town feel. And 21 Palms is the best place to stay. The owner is accommodating yet respectful of your privacy. And the price is affordable for the level of service. I highly recommend this quaint bed and breakfast.

A very pleasant bed and breakfast.

The property was very charming and beautiful. You were greeted by Max the cat and huge rabbit. The owners were very humble and friendly. Service and rooms were good. The beds could have been a little more softer but I think all beds in DR are too hard.

my spouse and i really enjoyed our stay at 21 Palms. the hosts were so welcoming and accommodating. It's very well set up. we had a lower room with a kitchenette, and it was very comfortable. air conditioning, good wifi. I liked that it was in a very quiet area, about a 15-20 minute walk to the main road (getting there along the coastal path is very pleasant).

English: Nice people, a terrace with a lovely view, a good bar and a wonderful & lonely beach close by. Deutsch: Wir wurden sehr gut und zuvorkommend betreut, haben gute Tipps bekommen und können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen. Der Strand ist wunderschön, die Zimmer sind nichts besonderes aber sauber und die Terasse sehr groß. Auch die Bar macht was her. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen aber der freundliche Nicola (Mototaxi) fährt euch überall günstig hin.

21 Palms is the ideal place to rest and enjoy the marine landscape in Las Galeras, Samaná. The hosts made us feel welcomed and at ease. The bar is cute and inviting. The rooms and common areas are well kept. A great plus is the many beaches and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed Playa Rincón at lot and found good sea food in Playa Chiquita. The locals are the best GPS in case one gets lost and are courteous and helpful.
