I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Monte Rosa. We stayed in their newly renovated Junior Suite and absolutely loved it. The room was extremely functional, spacious, immaculate, with generous storage and a sparkling, luxurious bathroom. It was so nice to have BOTH a shower and a bathtub! Spend the extra $ if you can and book one of the new suites, it's worth it. Our pleasure didn't end with the room. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way providing good recommendations for planning day trips, etc. The breakfasts are something I will have fond memories of. Each morning the lead gentleman who ran the breakfast remembered our beverage order -- a cappuccino for me and diet coke for my husband. Also, make sure to have the fresh, creamy yogurt (from a local dairy/farmer consortium). It was out of this world, and now home, is making it very difficult to go back to Chobani! We were there in mid-May and therefore it was a bit early for the pool but it looked really nice and all the patio furniture and cushions, etc were in excellent condition. I could certainly imagine lounging poolside with an Aperol spritz and being quite content! If you are coming by train, the hotel is an easy walk even with luggage. And the town of Chiavari itself was an absolute joy. If I had one slight recommendation for the hotel it would be to perhaps add SMART TV accessibility. That would be the icing on the cake. Me and my wife stayed in this hotel during our trip to Italy. Our plan was to visit Cince Terre and liked to stay in a nice village so Chiavari was a good choice with good train connections to the places to visit. The Monte Rosa hotel is excellent, good location and nice restaurant. But most of all the personal was so charming and helpful to us so it felt like we were a part of their family. Thanks.

This hotel is situated in the old town. It is about 10 mins level walk to the train station and 15minutes to the seafront. It has an outside pool and exercise room should you wish to use them and a comfortable patio area. The food is excellent and the staff friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Hotel is nicely located in the old part of the city. The parking facility is very good, clean and easy to access. It is only 5min walkway to the sea. The hotel itself is well equipped and spacious. The highlight is definitely the pool area. This is a rare find in a city hotel. The staff was always friendly and very helpful.

Myself and my sister spent 11 wonderful days in this Hotel. Brilliantly situated in the lovely town of Chiavari, which is not overrun by tourists but is bustling with lots of cafes, restaurants and wonderful shops in old arcades. A true authentic Italian vacation. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the train station where you can travel up and down the coast. Having visited the Cinque Terry and Santa Margherita, Portofino and Camogli we were always glad to return to Chiavari and our oasis of tranquility at the Monte Rosa. The rooms are lovely with big en suites and excellent air conditioning. Spotless cleaned every day, with robes, slippers, and pool towels. Beach towels in request. The breakfast is very good and the staff are excellent. The pool area is a huge bonus as the beach is stony, we loved being out here and taking many dips throughout the day. Big shout out to Olga, Paola, Luca and all the staff. We will return!

Had the pleasure of staying here on a railway discovery holiday.In a great location within easy reach of town centre and beach, They could not have choosen better.Excellent meals and service.Only managed to remember one name.Matteo.Excellent waiter who was on the ball.

Hotel Monte Rosa is the BEST! Every time we have stayed we have had excellent service! Mossimo and the hotel staff are wonderful!
