Dirty, urine smelling bathroom and room; insects in the bathroom. Garbage from previous visitor stuck along the water pipe under the sink. The remote was not cleaned, probably ever; we had to clean it to attempt to touch it. Have pics for all, but won't bother uploading.

Soundproofing between the rooms was very poor - conversation, TV and toilet flush easily audible, as well as footsteps and bed noises (!) overhead. Small outside dining area was dominated by smokers and therefore unusable by others at breakfast time. The only place to eat was a squalid pizza restaurant next door. Many guests brought their own pillows but mine were acceptable.

The positives - it’s clean and functional. The rest… it’s an American style motel adjacent to a motorway on an industrial estate. No air conditioning in the rooms which means that you have to have the window open… so lots of traffic noise all night long as we had to keep the window open. Kid sleep on a mezzanine platform at the top of the room which traps the heat so they got the fan provided. No soap or shower gel provided, bathroom was worn and tired. We stayed in B&B Hotels in Verdun and Paris. Both were great. The Caen B&B was the most expensive and the least pleasurable.

No issues with cleanliness, staff or accommodation. All very good value for money. Booking process was easy and the staff responded immediately to my questions. Highly recommend for short stays/weekend breaks.

Good family rooms. We stayed for 1night and we had a very pleasant time. It was really easy to check in and the receptionist was very friendly. The room was basic but clean. we didn't need anything more for a night before getting the ferry. There's a restaurant opposite to the hotel which serves very nice food. Also, there is a Centre Leclerc 5mins away from the hotel.

Went to the hotel pretty late. Need to call 24/7 service to acquire access code.
