private parking area in front of hotel was a plus. no elevator. bar next to the hotel was enjoyable.

wonderful old house in beautiful area. charming interior. very good french cuisine - friendly people! small, but very clean room. great view out of the front facing windows over the Rockwall on the other side of the valley. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Wonderful one night stay. Peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Lovely terrace. Delicious evening meal. Excellent service. Highly recommend this Auberge. Nearby stream for swimming or paddling and the hotel can provide picnic lunch.

Charming Alberge with excellent restaurant in very small, but Charming village next to the Loup. Best was the excellent and Charming bar next to the Alberge. No AC and dogs barking all night was no good.

The owner is very nice and speaks decent English. The breakfast was very good with fresh orange juice, pain au chocolat, baguette, croissant and a variety of confiture. The bathroom is clean and so is the room itself. Unfortunately the Auberge has a very big downside: There is no cooling. Not only is there no fridge in the room but also there is no air conditioning. The small room (216) did not cool down during the night so we barely slept at well over 30 degrees. We opened the window and let a fan run but that helped only marginally. It was too hot even for the hair dryer that stopped working because of overheating... Another thing was the cleaning lady that unlocked and entered the room without knocking. We had dinner in the restaurant which was very good but would definitely choose a different stay next time.

Fabulous position near a river and the Pont au Loup. Great bar & lounges garden next door with music. Fabulous hotel restaurant with open fire. Comfortable rooms. Dog friendly however there is a charge sadly. Service was great.

We were enroute to Vence, using the bus from Grasse - what a lovely trip. We stopped off at this hotel for an overnight stay and what a gem we found. Jean Pierre made us feel very welcome. The hotel was clean and tidy, the rooms more than adequate for us, with great views of the Gorges. I can also recommend the pub next door - although not linked to the hotel, we did enjoy a number of local beers sitting under the orange trees - with the sun shining! The restaurant and meal was very good. We had the set menu of 43 Euros, which was very good value and very good quality. It was such a positive experience that after we walked to the waterfalls on Sunday morning, we had our Sunday lunch there, sitting outside on the terrace. If you are heading this way, I can recommend this hotel - or even just the restaurant if you are not staying. Overall our trip was very good value.

Excellent few days in a beautiful setting. Weather was very hot at times, but a fan was provided. Enjoyed meals and breakfasts. Room service good and towels changed daily. Pont du Loup is a good base for walking and easy access to the mountains, Gourdon, Greolieres Tourrettes all nearby.

A pretty hotel in a beautiful gorge. Good service and friendly staff. No air conditioning in our room which meant sleep was disrupted as it was such a hot evening. All in all a good stay on our way to Nice.
