ハンプトン イン & スイーツ フレデリックスバーグ サウス(Hampton Inn & Suites Fredericksburg South)

They were in the middle of up grade to their hotel. I think once it's done, it will look a lot better 😀. The staff was great 👍. Our room was a mess, but we got another room with on seconds of reporting it. I would stay here again.

Housekeeper woke us up at 8am k nocking on the door. Nice room.I liked that there was an extra blanket in the room.

It was a nice and clean hotel. It is conveniently located to the interstate and shopping centers

The check in was great; staff is efficient. The room is dated and infested with ladybugs. Thank god it wasn’t bedbug, little critters were crawling all over the wall and ceilings. Never again

Hotel looks worn out. The box spring of the mattress was blown out at the sides and there was somebody elses hair cover bag thing left between the night stand and the bed. The pool was disgusting, pumps weren't running and the stagnant water had hair and junk floating on the surface. Both the pool and the hottub had a sort of filth ground into the surfaces such that you could see where more recent repairs had been done because those were the bright clean areas. The hottub wasn't very warm and when the jets turned on... well they just kinda bubbled up at the edge since the plastic things that direct the waterjets were missing. Also there was a commercial dehumidifier running 20 feet away.. that was plugged into an extension cord that ran across the (wet) pool deck. Overall it wasn't terrible, aside from the pool area, it just wasn't very good either.

As a Hampton, was good. We had Room 115 that unfortunately developed a leak in the.commode tank resulting in water seeping onto the floor. Staff was helpful but we had to put up with a bunch of towels on the floor for the 2nd night of our stay to sop up the water dripping onto the floor.

Looks like some upgrades are needed in the building. Old carpet and old floors in bathroom.

Room was in what used to be the basement..noisy, thin walls.. reserved 2 nights. At check in our room key was set for only one night. Had to return to front desk to get into our room on day 2. At check in the clerk did not ask for our Hilton rewards info

The reviews were wonderful which is why we chose to stay here for an overnight trip. The hotel itself and the staff were lovely. The hotel was very clean and the staff were so nice. However, the surroundings are not what I expected. It is directly off the highway which is convenient but there’s a lot of transient people just camping and lounging around the area and outskirts of the property. I’m from NYC so this isn’t out of the ordinary for me. Maybe because I wasn’t home, but it wasn’t something I expected and definitely didn’t feel all that safe after dark.
