プレザント バレー モーテル ウエスト ストックブリッジ(Pleasant Valley Motel West Stockbridge)

I would reccomend this place for summer only. In winter it is cold so cold that I had to use my own sleeping bag under their covers. Ironically I took this cheap place because in my own house nearby the hot water boiler has broken down. Their thermostats were unresponsive, the heater in the bathroom was on constantly, old and ineffective. To take a shower I needed to close the bathroom and run the hot water until the room was like a schwitzbad.

I was originally placed in a room with one bed, which is not the one I reserved, but that was ok, since it was only me, however, the room was cold and I was asked to plug in an oscillating heater to heat the room. It was about 5 inches in diamater and maybe 30 inches high. I did so, then went to eat. After I'd returned I waited a bit and the room was still cold. At that point, I called the office and they moved me into the room I was originally supposed to have and I suppose they controlled the heat, because it actually got too hot. Upon waking I went to check out and realized breakfast is only two days a week (on the weekends) there and outside the office was a coffee pot and some cups. I dropped my keys off and left. I'll choose another location if I ever need to stay in that area again.

The website states that breakfast is included but when we got there the owner said that breakfast was only offered in the summer season. Instead of being allowed to enter the office, the keys were handed to us from a grilled window. Very unwelcoming!

Don’t waste your time or money. Rude worker (owner?) nasty smelly place. Take the time to drive elsewhere

The essentials were all there and good. Nice clean bath, good bed. A work in progress. No heat but none was needed. Was offered a space heater to use.

I reserved on ********** at 11:00 PM. I showed up at 11:15 PM. The office was closed. There was a cell phone listed for the motel. I phoned. A male came to the window and told me they were closed and to go away. I stated I had a ********** reservation. He told me 2 more times to go away. The person was rude and totally uncooperative.

Well situated just off highway 90. Bed was comfortable but room and hotel need a lot of TLC

This is the dirtiest motel I have ever been in. It was too late to find something else. I should have slept in the car. I slept on top of the bed with my clothes on. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom and mold growing on the cracked tile on the walls and floor. I don't know how they stay open. I regret not taking photos.

I can always get a good nights sleep knowing that the rooms are clean, i get fresh towels, its quiet and has everything we need including a breakfast. The people are super helpful which adds to the charm.
