Can’t recommend highly enough. We had a Travelzoo offer with Travelodeal for 4 nights with wine tasting and a free bottle of wine. The hotel is right on the beach. It’s super modern. The rooms are large, light and spotlessly clean with huge beds. The bathroom was lovely with lots of toiletries and towels.Housekeeping was done daily which was great. We had a problem with the air con and the manager swapped us to another room which had a balcony and sea view which was fantastic. He was kind and understanding and is a credit to the hotel. The staff helped us book drivers to take us to the sights. I felt like a movie star in new Mercedes’ vehicles with very smart polite drivers! Helped us make the most of the short break. The hotel shuttle to Taormina is great too. We visited Castelmola which is highly recommended, Taormina by day and night. The Greek amphitheatre is spectacular. Villa Communale has great views.Beautiful. We went on the Cable cars and also visited Isola Bella where we went on a boat trip. Book this hotel. You won’t be sorry. And the breakfast is great!

Highly recommended and the perfect spot for visiting Taormina and Etna. This is my third visit to Taormina but hadn't been for twenty years. we found Albatros Beach Hotel with their easy shuttle bus access to the sites of Taormina so much better than being based in the hustle & bustle of an over crowded, expensive, Taormina. The food was of a high, varied standard, the staff were friendly and efficient and our room 105 had a large modern, clean bedroom with efficient shower and overlooked the sea. We needed more coat hangers and our two pin adapters didn't work but the hotel staff instantly remedied this, thank you. Yes, as other reviews have specified the beach opposite is quite stony, but we live in Brighton ( very pebbly) and took our beach shoes so big thank you to all the previous reviewers. Sea water was blissfully clear on this stretch of the coast, bracingly cold but nothing a Brit couldn't handle. Plus take your own towel if you don't want to pay extra for a beach towel. Hotel also has a small pool /jacuzzi, good to sit round whilst sipping cocktails. We both enjoyed the variety and quality of the food, but found the Sicilian wine a little sharp for our tastes and eventually found the Sicilian Chardonnay very good. As this hotel has been newly renovated, I am concerned the shower screen isn't water proof which although not a problem for us, will eventually cause problems for the ceilings below, but as this was also a problem noted by other residents I'm sure the manager must be aware of this. We also had an excellent lunch en route to Albatros Beach Hotel from Palermo. An Agricultural Tourismo farm just outside of Monreale called Villa Borgo Antico. Best home made wine and food we had on Sicily but more of that in another review

First of all, food was delicious. We did stayed 5 days and every day has different menu. As a restaurant / catering firm owner, I can say that we ate one of the best foods in sicily in this hotel. It was very surprising for a 4 star hotel. Second, management is very good, staff is very nice but most important that you can see that they like their work. Reception staff very young but professional. Rooms very clean, perfect location. One morning very early a small tractor start working at the beach just front of the hotel and make noise, hotel manager run to the beach and stop the work and send tractor back!)) Funny to see director at the hotel that early). The first day we had a small problem in the room, and thanks to Mario, we could change the room and make a reasonable deal. Only minus, at the bar or room service, there wasn't any small bites with the drinks like every where else. So yes, if we come back to Taormina, we will definitely stay again at this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, no complaints at all. The hotel staff could not do enough for us and were all lovely and friendly. The rooms were nice and spotlessly clean and the breakfast was amazing, love having cake for brekkie, but also lots of other choices too, and they even have a machine to make fresh orange juice, and someone makes fresh coffees. We had a wine tasting experience as part of our package, which was a nice touch and came with a few nibbles. We also had a free bottle of wine in our room on arrival which was really good wine, we thoroughly enjoyed it. We used the hotel shuttle bus to go to Taormina one day, I know you can get local buses for cheaper but the weather was awful so it was so much more convenient. Letojanni is small but lovely, we found a great fish restaurant overlooking the sea (take a right out of the hotel and about a 5 min walk), where you can pick your own fish. Not the cheapest but very nice and reasonable compared to UK prices. The reception staff helped us book the Godfather tour one day, it was only 18 euros so much cheaper than pre booking from the UK, its an open topped bus which takes you to Savoca and Forta d'agra (not sure if I got that right!), and although you don't get a tour guide its not really needed. My friends hadn't seen the Godfather films but still enjoyed it, they are lovely little quaint villages to visit. If you're looking for a cheap eat lunchtime then there are a couple of places that sell arancino balls on the street behind the hotel, they're delicious, come in different flavours, come warm and are filling and cheap. I would also recommend the Cannoli from near here too, they fill them fresh for you. There is a co-op on that street too if you need water etc. and we bought lots of hard cheese and cannoli shells etc. to take home. The hotel didn't have any beds on the beach when we were there so we went to the nearest bar which had them and they were only 10Euro for 2 beds, this may go up in peak season though. There is a lady called Lili that gives massages on the beach too, she gives a cracking back massage for 10euro, so look out for her. We only had 4 nights but would love to return when we can. Highly recommend.

What a brilliant hotel. The spotlessly clean rooms are beautifully fitted out and the beds are super comfy. We stayed for 5 nights and didn’t need lunch once as the buffet breakfast choices were delicious and varied. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and kind and genuinely seem to love working there! We will definitely recommend Albatros Beach View to friends and family, and are pretty sure we will come back to this lovely little town and this fabulous hotel.

This hotel surpassed our expectations. The hotel is modern, stylish and very clean. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. We were upgraded to a sea view junior suite and it was amazing. A big room with everything we needed and superb views. The breakfasts were tasty with varied choices. We especially liked the freshly squeezed Sicilian orange juice and freshly made coffees. There was a vast selection of every pastry and cake you could think of as well as savoury choices. There is a nice little pool area which I would imagine might get busy in the summer however you have the beach just across the road. Finally there is a courtesy bus which runs to and from Taormina which we found very handy. Highly recommended.

What a lovely little hotel! Clean, modern, friendly staff and lovely fresh coffee and juice served with breakfast. We also had the wine tasting included at the hotel with our stay, Tamara was very knowledgable and it was great value for money. Only a 10 min drive to Taormina and we also visited Savoca and Castelmola which are also close by and we'd recommend!

Lovely hotel. Immaculately clean. Excellent food with waiter service. Staff were really good. Special mention to Lucy and Tino in the restaurant. We were with Saga Holidays and our host Trina was very helpful too. Letojanni is a small resort and was quiet when we were there however there were still bars and restaurants open and local shops. Easy bus ride into Taomina. There is a railway station for trips further afield.

Based on the reviews that I had read, I booked two nights here. I needed a stay close to the main railway to Messina. This hotel ticked all my boxes but exceeded my (already good) expectations. My only regret is that I couldn’t have the kids with me as they would have had a great holiday. Wonderful staff - polite and friendly. Quiet enough to get two good nights’ sleep. I’d upgraded to balcony although the cheaper room would have been just as good. Letojanni is delightful. Less popular than nearby Taormina but better if you just want a quiet break.
