This place is absolutely stunning, the only reason I was unable to give a five star rating is because of two pretty important issues. The hot water did not work the night we arrived, so I was unable to take a shower until the morning. And the tea kettle left in my room had someone’s left over tea from a previous day, this was quite disgusting. However, the place itself is clean, decent, and it really makes you feel like you are one of the aristocrats from the time this place was built. I was not impressed by the food. But would certainly recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Great stay, if you want to stay north of Nairobi. Place has a unique colonial character, service is more reflective of times gone by. Food was great and well priced. Property is geared towards big events hosting so felt empty on many days and then suddenly full. Overall enjoyed it as a great sleeping pad for our north of Nairobi trips like hells gate national park, ziplining and ol pejete trips. Grounds were pretty, so you can enjoy a day or two in the property itself.

Amazing, amazing place. The service was top-notch, food was excellent, comfortable bed and spacious room. The whole experience was unforgettable. I would 10/10 recommend. Thank you for giving us a beautiful experience. We'll be back! 🙏

We were here a second time to spend Christmas holidays and had an even better experience than before. The service by all the staff; notably Peter, Makena, Irene, Ascar, George, among others was exceptional! The hotel stepped in to support us with the baby when we had a medical emergency during our stay exemplifying great concern and willingness to go above and beyond to support the guests. The room 307 was spectacular and we wish we had more time to make enjoy it some more! The one thing that they can work on is heating up the pool- Limuru can be quite cold, and it would be great to enjoy the pool in that environment. Great food, kind people, amazingly spacious rooms... I would go back, again. Loved it!

The experience was great- room had lots of space, great ambience and the food was amazing. The service from the staff was equally good. A serene environment and great place to unwind, be in tune with nature and rejuvenate! Sovereign Suites is good for family getaways, business engagements and is very easy to access. We definitely took some very lovely pictures on the property and had a good experience during our stay. There is however room to adjust to be more child friendly- they did not have a kid's menu, or some activities for kids but the staff quickly adjusted to accommodate us, especially on meals.

Ambient, serene & very conducive. Good for family, photoshoot and business audiences. Fast and personalised service . The hotel is located next to the road which means that accessibility even by public means is absolute. Lovely place all round

The food was amazing and good customer service from the staffs. The spa is awesome,the rooms are spacious. Big gardens for kids to play in.a Amazing place to stay and spend the weekend away from the city. The bar is also so good with both alcoholic drinks and un alcoholic.

Sovereign Suites is spectacularly spacious and the environment is green and luscious. The rooms are large and cosy, the staff are all warm and friendly and also willing to go the extra mile to accommodate the guests. The food is also really good. We had a wonderful New Year's Eve party and great camaraderie. It's less than an hour's drive from Nairobi City, making it a convenient weekend getaway spot. Definitely recommend it!

From the moment you arrive the service is top notch. Starting from the reception to the room service to the restaurant and quality of food, there is pure dedication and genuine effort to make the quests feel special. Its a special and historic place to be, very family friendly, serene outdoor space, and the rooms are spacious and the view from the balcony is just a breathe of fresh air every morning you walk out onto it. Kudos to the management and staff for making it the perfect holiday getaway. Looking forward to returning there over and over again.
