Hotel in good place to explore Lincoln. We have stayed in many Premier Inns including London many times, but this hotel was probably the worst experience at breakfast time. Very badly run, not enough staff there, as only 1 or 2 chefs plus similar waiting staff who were running around trying their best . Many food items were constantly running out and taking ages to replenish, some items had totally ran out like muffins, croissants etc, food wasn’t great tasting there either. Tables were left dirty for ages( not staffs fault, as did their best) . One male server was particularly busy in there, and very pleasant! It was half term so hotel was very busy, queue’s for the food were long too, therefore that should have been considered and definitely more staff needed. Totally chaotic breakfast time on both days. Even in London we have never experienced this ! Also requested a room clean, but this did not happen, just got our towels changed which I was going to mention when we checked out, but there wasn’t anyone on reception! Overall I probably wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and did work hard, and hotel is good for being close to Lincoln centre.
