ホテル エレメント リプノ(Hotel Element)

Everything was wonderful, the room was quiet and comfortable, but sometimes there were strange knocks as if something very heavy had been dropped - regardless of the time of day. But perhaps this was some kind of construction work and preparation for the tourist season. The best thing - city was completely empty, only a couple of shops and cafes were open at that time, but I chose this for this purpose :)

We asked for a room for 3 persons, but the linen was provided for 2. Overpriced parking. Good breakfest though.

Hotel Element, where I stayed with my wife and my little son (3 months) for 2 nights during the week, is at a great location, super close to the lake, to the bobsled track, treetops path and anywhere around. Receptionists were friendly and very helpful, room was a good size in the building opposite the main (where receptionist is), which was actually just above the restaurant where breakfast (super delicious with Prosecco on top 🤩), lunch and dinner is served, great 👍🏽 Everything was clean and tidy, I would gladly come back ☺️

This place took me by surprise. A beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Will explore the area later this morning

Very nice hotel, clean and located in the heart of Lipno. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely recommend staying at Element. Thank you! P.S. Breakfast was also very nice. However we noticed the staff had trouble bringing all the dishes in the back office because of the inconvenient door next to the buffet area. Please install a swing door for them:)

It is a nice and pretty new hotel with a great location. There is a good space for bikes, a nice kids-place and great animators that help with kids too. But there are several things that should be improved: 1. Staff at the reception is pretty average and if there is an issue e.g. with AC as we had, they have no clue how to fix it and they even had some attitude 2. The worst experience was with the manager of their restaurant - he was very arrogant and extremely focused on money, he has some "favourite rich" guests and he was taking care of them and he was overlooking others on purpose. When he broke the glass and I told him that I put some sharp fragments on the side since he left them there, he didn't even say thank you and didn't apologize, etc. 3. You have to pay for every single thing there e.g. parking is not included 4. I didn't like the breakfast at all - there were so many flies, you have to go grab food downstairs and walk back up afterwards, many people in the small space, etc.

Great hotel for a quick stay. Super friendly staff. Parking on site. Minimarket, bakery, restaurant, animation, playground on site. Rooms small but very clean. No air-con in the rooms. Breakfast with fresh produce.

We stayed 3 nights at the hotel (2 adults and 1 year old kid). The sofa bed was ok for our daughter to sleep, therefore not having a kot was not a problem. The room is spacious , nicely decorated with all the standard amenities. For reference we stayed in the Stodola building which is right next to the main building with the reception, which has lake view. We were viewing the main road , but it was not noisy. This building has the restaurant, where breakfast is served. The breakfast had plenty of options and it was really tasty. We also had dinner one day in the restaurant and it was really good value for money , compared to other restaurants in the area.The location is ideal if you want to visit the whole Lipno region. It is right next to the lift that takes you to the mountain and to the tourist office.You can also drive easily to other places of the region and walk or bike by the waterfront.You might need parking on the hotel parking which is charged with 200 czk per day. A plus of the accomodation was the fact that with the key card of the room you have small discount on entering the ski area ( lift , the lookout tower or the kids area) The staff of the hotel was really helpful and friendly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend the hotel for visiting Lipno.

On the day I was supposed to arrive my daughter fell ill with chicken pox. By policy I couldn't cancel anymore. Nevertheless, I requested the hotel to make an exception and allow to reschedule the booking considering my reason for the late cancellation. I emailed and called the hotel a number of times. With few exceptions, the staff had very poor English skills which made communication very challenging. My request was never really considered, I was shown no sympathy or compassion. The only response I ever got was that the as per the hotels cancellation policy I do not get a refund. I even offered to pay any difference in the room rate, but to no avail. I also note, that I have booked one of the most expensive room. I am an experienced traveler, this has happened to me before. In all previous cases my hotels were understanding and have allowed rescheduling or even refunding. All in all, very poor communication and customer service from Hotel Element Lipno - would not book again
