ンゴマ ザンガ ロッジ(Ngoma Zanga Lodge)

An absolute gem! The owner, Chantal, is very involved in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance and it shows. They were extremely accommodating - we had an outdoor camper trailer which they allowed us to park and connect to electricity. All the staff are super friendly and polite. The rooms are tastefully decorated/designed and the bed was vey comfy. Beautiful outdoor pool and bar. Can’t recommend highly enough!! Only 2 suggestions for improvement: 1) A signpost is desperately needed on the main road and T-junction to show where the place is. 2) Put a hairdryer in the room.

Nice and helpful staff. Room relatively small for three adults but beds nice and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Pool cleaning was not performed every day, which is a pity. Dinner in the evening very lonely (only guests) and menu quite short. Red wine served warm….we had to load it with ice. Same for beer. Food ok. All transfers and taxi requirement handled swiftly. Nice touch with som freshly picked mango from their vast mango trees shadowing the pool area.

This is a lovely lodge for the budget conscious. The staff were super helpful with reserving activities and transport. The restaurant provided a perfectly fine breakfast, but only instant coffee (yet Zambia grows excellent coffee). The pool was nice. Staff provided me milk for my room and a teapot. Bed was very comfortable.

The property is quiet an oasis in the middle of town, but they are burning trash 24/7 right outside of the property and the smell is penetrating everything. Made hanging out at the pool and bar unenjoyable:( Food was safe, but nothing special.

Great spot to stay; the staff were SO helpful & friendly. Loved relaxing by the pool. Clean and safe.

The Ngoma lodge was a nice oasis in Livingston! The accommodations were comfortable and the pool was especially nice. The best part of the experience was the wonderful staff and hospitality. Caroline, the manager, took us in as family from day one and made sure we were well taken care of. We received great recommendations on places to eat, to shop, and to have authentic cultural experiences. She connected us with a good driver, Steve, who took us everywhere. Ken, the other manager, was also super friendly and helpful and gave us many insights. He promptly took care of any little requests that came up. We really enjoyed our interactions with Ken and Caroline. The rest of the staff, including the kitchen staff and room attendants Naomi and Destiny were so kind and attentive. Overall our stay at the Ngoma lodge was superb and we were most impressed by the quality of the staff!

Caroline and Ken were excellent hosts, couldn’t have asked for better care from them and their staff. Our stay at Ngoma lodge would not have been the same without Caroline, ken and their staff. Highly recommend this place because of the amazing workers!!!

This is a little jewel in Livingstone. Thank you so much to all the staff, Ken and colleagues - who were so friendly and helpful. No need to look further, the place is awesome and clean. Yes, our room was tiny (as explicitly mentioned when we booked it), but a really nice bathroom, comfortable beds... well nothing to complain about !
