エノテル サンセット ベイ(Enotel Sunset Bay)

對於沒有租車的人來說，交通是非常不方便的，因為Shuttle Bus班次比較少，特別是週末的時候！第二沒有的士！如果電召的士會比APP上面叫車貴一倍！一晚酒店$1000港紙，但係叫一次的士出去市區都已經要$400港紙！而且設施比較殘舊，而且枕頭比較矮！唯一嘅亮點就係景色真的很漂亮！

Bom hotel bem localizado e confortável

Lovely setting. Friendly staff. But no tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. There should be a minimum of a kettle, cups and sachets. That is standard these days. Also it would be good to put up a glass wall between swimming pool and reception. Stops reception being too warm. Also put spa robes and slippers for going to swimming pool in room.

Lovely sea view from our room . Nice and clean. Large room. Poor toiletries. Really poor that there are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This has been mentioned so many times in reviews but seems to have fallen on death ears. Not even a bottle of water in the room.

Painted different colours on the outside, this is one long hotel on the inside. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was fabulous. Very large room, handy fridge. Huge TV. It’s very relaxing to sit and watch the world go by here. We never even made it to the official roof terrace or other hotel amenities. We did pop out for an easy stroll to see the old bridge. (I wished I’d dressed for the possibility that water might drip while walking through the tunnel to get there). Then more lounging on the balcony, watching the sunset. They had the largest selection of breakfast choices that we saw in Madeira. I especially liked the made-to-order fluffy pancakes, which I had with baked apple from the buffet and squirty Nutella. Mmmm! The cook was also made omelettes on request. Coffee is from an automatic machine but it grinds the beans for each cup. As self service machines go, it was the fanciest we saw on our trip. We noticed many people eating in the touristy joints overlooking the sea. Why pay “saw you coming” prices for questionable quality when you could just stay at this hotel and enjoy the view from the balcony without hassle? We had the best dinner of our stay in the town, at Sol Doce. The underground parking is a sharp angle to get into. The receptionist recommended turning around at the end of the road, and approaching from that direction. I think this is good advice, based on what we saw from the balcony. Cars come around the corner very quickly. Lots of cars turn around in front of the tunnel.

The location is amazing, the hotel is located few steps from the ocean. Our room was beautiful, large and with a wonderful view. The staff was kind and helpful

We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our stay in Madeira, lovely hotel with great views out to the Atlantic Ocean. Hotel is situated on the promenade of Ponta Da Sol and takes up about 2/3rds of it. It’s been built in a sympathetic style to fit in with the local area. Breakfast was included in our room rate and we found a good selection of hot and cold food. We never used the indoor pool but did you’d the interface on the 4th floor on a couple of occasions. Some nice places to eat just around the corner on ‘Bar Street’, the Beach Bar is also a nice place to hang about during the day and early evening. Best sunset on the island and you don’t even need to leave your room. Perfect base to explore the island.

The view from the hotel is nice and there are some great restarants behind the hotel. My complaint is that my room felt dirty...it had been cleaned but felt greasy and my skin was so itchy from the bed...I am not sure what was causing it but it was noticably different with this hotel vs the others I stayed at on Madeira island. Even though the view was nice, i looked forward to leaving the hotel from right after check in to the time i left.

Hotel is excellent. Fantastic location on the beach. All rooms are large, modern, clean, with beautiful sea views. Indoor pool, sauna and Turkish baths are a nice touch. Breakfast is excellent but they need a second coffee machine to reduce the coffee line up. Great service and the buffet dinners are worth the extra money.
