Best Western Plus Frontier Motel

I’ve been going here for 17 years – Martin, the father, and now the son, Travis on this beautiful Best Western – – What I like best about this motel is the people who work here- And the incredible beauty as you eat breakfast—

The staff at this hotel are friendly and are helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean. Parking is assigned and parking is close to the room which made it nice for unloading our luggage. The breakfast area was nice sized with many options to choose from. The food items were well stocked and staff kept the area clean. The main issue that I had was that our room had a lot of road noise and on the last night of our stay the wind blew and we got some small leaves in our room. Found out that the weather *****ping on our door needed the be replaced. Will stay here again if we are in the area despite this issue.

Long time Death Valley visitors who normally stay inside the park but opted to try this Best Western in Lone Pine for a change. We were very pleased and will return here in the future. Our room was a king with plenty of pillows on the bed, nice fluffy towels, small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and ice available for registered guests. It was clean and tidy. Although we did not need housekeeping, they were readily available if you needed anything. Our room was away from Hwy 395 so we did not hear any road noise. Breakfast was very good for hotel continental, well staffed with hot food coming out continually, with plenty of seating. Front desk staff are great!!!!! Dining is nearby, and walkable if desired. The views of the mountains and Mount Whitney covered in snow, is breathtaking. Our drive in and out of Death Valley was beautiful, with the many of the mountains and desert floors covered in yellow flowers. Depending on traffic, it is an hour to Stovepipe Wells and another half an hour to Furnace Creek. The Frontier is now our go-to accommodations for Death Valley and the surrounding areas.

The desk clerk was very courteous and provided suggestions for dining. Room was nicely redecorated, with large bathroom. Bed comfortable. Great views of the mountains from breakfast room. Breakfast had many options , with great coffee and hot entrées.

Roomy, clean room. Bathroom was large, clean, lots of towels. Hot breakfast consistently monitored an replenished, very clean. Front desk always staffed and very pleasant and helpful. The best hotel we've stayed in throughout tour of the national parks in this area. Only recommendation would be to heat the pool.

The staff was great, room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was wonderful! The views of Mt. Whitney and the Alabama Hills was priceless! Pool was under renovation but we wouldn't have used it in March.

This hotel was perfect for our stop on the way to Death Valley. The rooms are large and clean with 2 sinks and a couch. Breakfast had lots of good options. A great value! Be sure to check out the Western Movie Museum and the Merry Go Round restaurant- best Chinese Food!

Hotel was convenient for visiting the area although it’s on a busy highway and you will hear it. We asked to be moved to a room further back from the road. They do offer wonderful white noise machines and blackout curtains. You will hear doors, parking lot noise and neighbors in the next room. They should NOT allow pets, as furniture and carpets are very stained. Bed was meh, mattress needs replacing. Breakfast was ok although a young woman stands and stares at everyone while they’re eating which is extremely uncomfortable!!

The staff at this motel is great. Front desk, housekeepers and breakfast staff are very welcoming. The free breakfast is good. The rooms are very clean. But the King rooms are smaller than I expected after seeing the options on the motel website. And the bathroom door needs a hook on it to keep it closed. (they are sliding barn-style doors.) While the motel set up makes it very easy to unload the car, I realized I like more privacy than a motel allows. (That's a personal preference and no criticism of the motel.)
