We stayed here for two nights and we’re blown away how beautiful it was.Our room and view were absolutely stunning,the grounds,the reception team nothing to fault.Our only complaint was leaving this beautiful property.Our dog Charlie didn’t want to leave and hid under the bed hoping we would forget him and he’s never done this before:)Absolutely exceptional and we will for sure return.

Our entire stay at Chateau de Berne was defined by first class hospitality. The reception staff and management, house keeping, restaurants, and valet all went out of their way to be hospitable with us and every guest. They strive to make everyone feel like they are having a personal experience - from a pillow menu to greeting everyone by name, remembering coffee orders, listening and providing bespoken recommendations, and so much more. The property is stunning, offering everything anyone could need for a glorious retreat. From breakfast to the bistro, room service and the gastronomical dinner, the chefs and full restaurant staff are top - notch. No detail, no matter how small, goes unattended. However, above and beyond all of this - the hospitality of the entire Chateau de Berne team is what separates it from other places. Staying here is a first-rate experience like no other.

Château de Berne is one of the nicest properties I have experienced. We planned to explore the region a bit more, but upon arriving, we decided to spend the whole time on the property as there is so much to do - hiking, spa, wine cellar visit, pool, etc. We will definitely be back!

We rented a car and took the 1 hour drive to experience a day trip to this lovely place. We booked the guided cellar tour. The guided tour was great. Such a wonderful place and the guide told us all the interesting fact and the history of the place and the wine making. The wine tasting was a bit disappointing. Three small tastes. One rose, one white and a red wine. The wine was ok, but the rosé was the only one we really felt was great. After the tour we went for lunch in the bistro. They had a table for us on the terrace under the «tent» The food and service was ok, but the place was so warm and it eas almost impossible to enjoy the meal. We also asked if we could share the fan with other tables or if they could bring an extra fan (one they didn’t use. But not possible. 🙄 It is actually the warmest place we ehave spend time for a meal. Ever. Really disappointing they could not help with some air. We so other leave the table before ordering, but We were to hungry after the long drive and tour. All in all not worth the one hour drive or the Money we spend there…

Phenomenal. Absolutely amazing service. I was traveling alone and was offered to dine in the Michelin Star restaurant. Staff went out of its way to accommodate me. Incredible. Highly recommend !!!

It was a fantastic experience! The place. The staff. The food. The wine. Everything about Chateau de Berne is deserving of its 5star and Michelin star rating!! Highly recommended. Can’t wait to go back!

We have enjoyed Chateau de Berne the past two summers with our children, ages 8-11-14-17. Both times our expectations have been exceeded! Between the accommodations, the property, the food and most of all the warm hospitality, you will most certainly fall in love with this place like we have. There are endless activities- hiking, mountain biking, cooking lessons, spa day- so there is something for everyone. Our family stayed in the Villa Fito both times and it is BEAUTIFUL! Huge kitchen, tons of natural light, working air conditioner in each room and giant bathrooms- something this spoiled American family really appreciates when traveling abroad. I could go on and on but I highly recommend you experience a stay at Chateau de Berne yourself!
