This was the cleanest and nicest experience I have ever had at a budget motel. The staff was really nice. It was a very busy weekend for the town (George Strait) and I don't think they were used to being fully booked up on one night and having to turn over the entire hotel for the next night being booked up with new guests. We arrived a little after check out and they didn't have a room quite ready yet, but we didn't have to wait long and they were very nice and apologetic about it. The property has clearly been renovated recently and was very clean. I share the same complaint as other reviews regarding the shower not having a door, curtain, or lip to catch the water and heat. We just kept the door shut and put a towel down and it wasn't that big of a deal, but definitely a design flaw. The door into the room also had some fitting issues. There were clear gaps. Luckily, this didn't cause any safety, noise, or temperature control issues, but again this was a clear design / fitting issue. Loved that they had a Firestick TV in the room and I was able to sign into my streaming services, because who watches live TV anymore? JK JK. We were right next to the highway, so you could hear cars passing by. If you like white noise while sleeping, this is a great substitute, but if you need dead quite, they offer free earplugs at the desk! The bed was not the best, but all-in-all this was a good place to hang your hat and call home for a night.

Parking lot is lit up like a Friday night lights which is good because the parking lot had some sketchy folks. The hotel did not have drinking water because the vending machine was empty. The shower has no door or curtain so water accumulated on the floor.

Room was impressively clean but the road noise was equally impressive. Wow. Most disappointing was when hotel clerk broke the cardinal rule of announcing our room number out loud to the other person in the small check-in area. Then when we reached the room, the security locking feature on the door did not work. Unacceptable. She did agree to move us to another room. There is absolutely nothing around this place and if you don’t have transportation ordering pizza seems to be the only option.

Everything was good except one tenant who obviously lives in room 228 was loud and his guests were unruly all night. Maybe he works for the motel but….

Hotel was clean. It is a VERY minimal hotel - no frills at all which is fine. It was weird to not have a shower curtain - had to direct the water to the back wall in order to not flood the bathroom. The lock on the door didn't work. This was corrected when the manager came by to see why there wasn't cleaning service reported (we left the card out because we didn't need anything). It is noisy as our room was RIGHT BY THE HIGHWAY. They did provide earplugs which is thoughtful. Overall clean, tidy; good service. Breakfast is NOT breakfast, unless you drink coffee and only eat muffins for breakfast. Again, likely my fault for not reading the fine print. I needed an inexpensive, safe, clean place to stay - this fit those needs.

Literally the noisiest hotel I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Men were milling around the parking lot at 10:30 at night and someone randomly and aggressively banged on our door at 11 PM, but then walked away. The parking lot and breezeways smelled of ethnic cooking and cigarettes. Fortunately, the room did not stink, in fact it was very clean. But the rooms are so incredibly noisy due to the orientation of the hotel to the highway. We had hoped that turning the air conditioner on constant fan would help drown out the sound of trucks unfortunately the air conditioner wasn’t working correctly and we were barely able to keep the room warm. Anyways, it is what it is a $60 hotel room. Also…there is NO spa that we could find, no coffee or lamps in the rooms (random and annnoying) and absolutely NO breakfast, it’s a coffee machine and some plastic wrapped muffins.

I’m not sure what went wrong, but when I arrived to check in, they couldn’t find my reservation. Apparently their system didn’t have the information from *******. It took almost two hours for them to try to resolve the issue, and during that time I had to go back to my car, drive around, and sit on hold while going back and forth with customer service. I was told an escalating manager would call me back, but that never happened. By the time two hours had passed, I no longer felt comfortable staying there. What made the situation worse was the lack of ownership from the staff. Imagine flying from Atlanta to Lubbock for a black-tie event later that afternoon, arriving around 3 PM expecting to check into your room to rest and prepare, only to get stuck in a customer service loop instead. Overall it was a very frustrating experience. No one seemed concerned that I ended up losing money because of it.

Room was spacious and clean with access to laundry, ice machine and vending machine (I used for water). It’s right off the highway, so you get some noise, but it wasn’t a problem for me. A/C unit worked very well and it was well lit. I’d definitely stay here again.

Room was very clean everything was practically new. Alittle noise from highway but that’s to be expected. But, staff very friendly and nice 👍
