セルヴァブティックホテル(Selva Boutique Hotel - Previously Yunque Mar Hotel)

First off I want to thank the staff who were very helpful and made my trip even better… Ok so I don’t write reviews but this hidden gem is perfect especially for the money and peace of mind. Before booking this trip I looked at the reviews, and in my opinion the ones who were leaving bad reviews need to knock it off seriously, If you looking for the Ritz Carlton spend the money, and don’t knock this one… you don’t need to rent a car if you do that’s up to you everything I was looking for was literally a 10 min walk I highly recommended and I will definitely be back

Friendly staff, very clean. Love the location, about a 10 min walk to the luquillo kiosks. Ocean right behind us, great view. Free parking right in front of the hotel. Very affordable, highly recommended!

No water to drink No hot water for coffee No breakfast Not even ice Dirty pool Beach that you can not swim Staff was nice But this is not a place to have a vacation!!! Beware!!!

The room and bed was comfortable, the staff was great. The shower was great, the balcony was an added bonus. Coffee and snacks in the morning was nice. The parking was very easy and convenient. The only thing I would say is that the pictures of the beach is a little misleading on the website. It is a rocky beach, no access in walkable distance that we could see. However there is a marvelous beach across from the Kiosks in Liquillo that I highly recommmend. I would stay here again for sure.

This hotel would be okay if it cost around $50 per night but it certainly is not worth the $112 that I paid. The bed/mattress is very basic and looks at least 10 years old. The water in the shower is horrible. It goes from super hot to cold, and back and forth constantly and never stabilizes. So you’re yelling from scorching water and then 3 seconds later the water is freezing without even touching the knobs. The light in the room didn’t work… and when it did work it would flash like a strobe light. So the only light source we had was a small table lamp that had a spider in it. The good things were the parking was convenient and the hotel provided coffee and snacks in the morning. They also have a thing in the lobby for filtered water.

La Selva is a convenient small hotel located right on the water (not a beach). The closest swimable beach is Luquillo a 10 minute drive east. Mine was an overnight stay and La Selva was a fine solution. The bed was firm and very comfortable, room (a double) was good sized and had a small balcony facing the pool/ocean. They have a nice deck in the back. T

Very clean, secure and comfortable property in a very quiet and easy access location. We loved our stay. Will definitely be returning!

Clean, close to beautiful beaches with swimming areas. You'll need a car if you stay here.
