ブラウハウス ヴィッテンベルク(Hotel Brauhaus Wittenberg)

Stayed four nights October, Hannes who worked in bar was by far the best member of staff so a big thank you to him for his fantastic service and advise he made our trip so much easier, as for hotel, bathrooms could do with a refurb and beds no so comfortable, food was excellent.

A historical hotel in the middle of Wittenberg, walking distance to the church door Martin Luther nailed his nighty-five theses. Breakfast was good, room clean, bed comfortable and the staff was friendly. The hotel’s best feature is the history and architecture. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for one night on our anniversary trip and it was decent but KNOW SOME GERMAN BEFORE YOU COME we had some language barrier issues. We had been misdirected up 3 flights of stairs and down 2 to get to the reception. Once finally at reception, the front desk agent knew some English but not a lot. The room was tiny, basic, and had barely any heat. Additionally, we said anniversary trip and were given two separate twin beds.... that were not very comfortable and not very romantic. However, once your leave your room the courtyard and restaurant are beautifully decorated. You are located in the middle of town which is great for sightseeing. The restaurant is delicious and the beer is wonderful!! I would stay here again but I would make sure there isn't a miscommunication on sleeping arrangements. IF you do not do stairs well or cobblestones do not come!! No elevator and the main walkways are traditional cobblestones so wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers will have difficulty!

* perfect location right on the market square * all employees were very friendly and helpful * the room was small and not very luxury but absolutely ok for the price…. everything was very clean * the place resembles a bit a medieval castle which is quite cute * the breakfast is good with a good variety of choices and with fresh ingredients * all in all I can recommend to stay there.

Preis Leistung ist sehr gut und das Frühstück war sehr gut.

Ich habe hier auf einer Fahrradtour entlang des Elberadwegs Halt gemacht und war sehr zufrieden. Das Gebäude liegt super zentral, direkt am Markt. Es ist alt, schön verwinkelt und romantisch, hat einen urigen Innenhof und eine Fahrradgarage. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren gut, die Portionen – auch mit 100 km in den Beinen – ausreichend.
