ホテル ブリタニック(Hotel Britannique)

We have just returned from a return visit to the Hotel Britannique after a weekend in Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concert. The hotel is exceptionally well kept, beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, really comfortable and has fantastic food. Kyona and Tim (who run the hotel) and their staff (who are clearly highly trained in impeccable customer service) are really welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The atmosphere created by the whole team makes you feel so special and totally relaxed and cared for throughout your stay. I can only highly praise every one of them for, yet again, making our stay a truly wonderful experience.

Lovely little hotel, rooms are really well furnished and decor is very tasteful The staff are brilliant and nothing is too much trouble for them. We stayed here to watch the Andre Rieu concerts, as guests we were treated to front row terrace seats on Vrijthof. It was perfect to be able to watch the concert while enjoying a good meal and a bottle (or two) of wine. We will almost certainly be coming back next year. Not sure as to what amenities the hotel offers as we were only here for 2 nights, purely to make the most of the opportunity to enjoy the concert.

Well it’s difficult to start. The hotel was spotless, the staff exceptional, nothing was too much trouble even during the really busy time of the concerts. This made our weekend away really relaxing. The food at the concert was superb considering the requirements for mass serving, breakfast again was super. We stayed in the top room overlooking the square yet the room was quiet and we slept really well. We will return to this, what we consider, a five star hotel.

It’s not a hotel but a restaurant / bar with rooms upstairs. Due to this fact, don’t expect hotel service. The place couldn’t be more downtown and the parking (q-park) is just around the corner (easy to walk). The suite is big (enough) But the little details as fresh bottle of wat every day or clean cups for coffee are not taken care of. When you sleep two nights, it is not cleaned between night 1 and 2. Not sure if we would stay here again, price- service ratio is out of context. Ps. Don’t do breakfast here. Go outside for a real breakfast experience. They are a restaurant, not a breakfast place.

Tijdens de Tefaf hebben hotels de neiging hun prijzen aanzienlijk te verhogen en dat is niet onlogisch. Sommigen maken het wel erg bont. Hotel Britannique dat overigens geen hotel maar café is met een aantal kamers voor de verhuur, is hier een goed voorbeeld van. Een matige kamer die overduidelijk niet door een professional is ingericht kostte voor 2 nachten €1387,50 zonder ontbijt. Een hoek van de kamer is ingericht als open badkamer, uitgevoerd in zwart marmer. Er staat een eivormig bad in dat buitengewoon onhandig is en eigenlijk onbruikbaar, en een douche met een spekgladde vloer, want uitgevoerd in gepolijst marmer. Levensgevaarlijk! Kortom, een extreem slechte ervaring voor een buitenproportioneel bedrag

Un'esperienza davvero negativa e con un rapporto qualità-prezzo non accettabile, in particolare la parte hôtel non gestita professionalmente. A very negative experience with unacceptable value for money, particularly the unprofessionally managed hotel part.

Un hotel bruyant. Les bruits de pas dans les chambres des etages superieurs sont genants, les canalisations glougloutent. Pas de salle de bain fermee dans la chambre. Les WC se closent par un panneau coulissant transparent en verre. La baignoire trone au milieu de la chambre. Bonjour l’intimité ! Pas de lobby d’accueil, on rentre dans l’hotel par un restaurant. bruyant. Pas de petit dejeuner servi aux clients, on est allés se sustenter dans un bar voisin. Pas d’ascenseur, les escaliers bien raides ne facilitent la montee des valises, Bref, à 380 € la nuit, hormis la vue sur la grand-place, cela releve du piege a gogos. Nous avons fui apres la premiere nuit, trompés par les photos flatteuses du site web, en abandonnant deux nuits prépayées.

Het was weer top geregeld het diner bij André Rieu.ondanks de regen hebben we genoten met de 10 dames van de kookclub.We verheugen ons alweer op volgend jaar. Dank voor alles team Britannique Netty Weterings

Suite junior magnifique et très spacieuse de 40m2 Bien équipée Très propre Très bel accueil Bien placé juste au dessus des différents restaurants avec terrasses chauffées. Je conseille fortement pour une ou deux nuits Petit bémol.... Le petit déjeuner pourrait être inclus pour le prix de la suite
